TOP TECH DEALS

If you spend $25 on products shipped and sold by Amazon.com today, you can add a bag of their Sweet ‘n’ Cheesy popcorn for free. I’ve got nothing else to add, it’s free popcorn, people.

Whether you just got a new iPhone 8, or you’ve had wireless charging Android phones for years, this dual-coil TechMatte charging stand is a nice deal at $12 with code TYTL3HT7.

It has a cooling fan that vents the back of your phone to prevent it from getting too warm, which can sometimes be an issue with wireless charging.

Anker’s PowerPorts are our readers’ favorite USB charging hubs, and the standard 40W/5-port model is about $4 less than usual right now. These are great for your nightstand, your desk, or even your luggage if you bring a lot of gadgets when you travel.

There’s a new Amazon Echo coming out at the end of the month, and that means great closeout deals on the old model. Woot has them brand new for $80 shipped in both black and white right now. Just remember that like all Woot deals, this is only available today, and could sell out early.

These Mackie CR3 reference monitors almost always sell for $100 on Amazon, and even at that price are frequently the top-sellers in the “Studio Audio Monitors” category. But if you buy them from Adorama today with promo code OCTOBER17, you’ll get them for $69. Nice.

If you’re building or upgrading a PC, AMD finally has processors worth considering, and the Ryzen 7 1700X is down to $299 today, an all-time low.

Here’s a no-brainer deal to help you get ready for holiday shopping. Just reload your Amazon gift card balance for the first time by $100 or more, and get a bonus $10 added to your account. You can’t argue with free money.

For all the fine print, click here.

Anker’s PowerPort Speed 1 is basically Anker’s take on Apple’s 29W USB-C charger that comes bundled with the 12" MacBook. They’re both small bricks with a single USB-C port, power throughput is almost identical (the Anker ekes out one extra watt), and they’ll both charge that 12" MacBook at full speed, or your Nintendo Switch when it’s in portable mode. And if you own an iPhone 8 or are planning to buy an iPhone X, it’ll also give those the fastest possible charging speeds, if you pony up for a USB-C to Lightning cable).

You probably see where I’m going with this, but there is one big difference: Price! The Apple charger will set you back $49, while the Anker is on sale for just $22, down from it usual $26.

If you travel with any regularity, this versatile little gadget may just be your new best friend. They call it the RAVPower FileHub Plus, but that name doesn’t do it justice, because it’s really three gadgets in one:

  • Travel Router: Turn any ethernet jack you find into a Wi-Fi hotspot, which can still come in handy at certain hotels and conventions.
  • 6,000mAh USB Battery Pack: Keep your phone and tablet charged during a long day away from any power outlets.
  • File Hub: Transfer files and wirelessly stream content from an SD card, hard drive, or flash drive to all of your devices. Imagine loading a cheap SD card up with movies for a long trip, instead of, say, buying a more expensive iPad with extra local storage.

Anker’s PowerLine and PowerLine+ cables were already our readers’ favorite charging cables, but the new PowerLine II line is even stronger, comes with a hassle-free lifetime warranty, and is a few bucks off on Amazon today.

We wrote more about the cables over on Gear, but the long and short of it is that between the extreme durability and the lifetime warranty, it’s quite possible that this will be the last Lightning cables you ever have to buy. The 6' model is the one on sale this week in black.

Your favorite USB car charger just happens to be the smallest one you can buy, and you can grab it on Amazon for $7 today with code AUKEYCS2. This is one of Kinja Deals’ top-selling products of all time, and if it’s been on your wish list, this is the best price we’ve seen in about a year.

VPNs are in the news these days, and with good reason. So if you’re curious to sign up and start protecting your browsing history and personal data (or, you know, getting around websites’geoblocks), NordVPN charges less per month than a typical trip to Starbucks.

NordVPN has long been one of the most popular and reliable VPN providers out there, and if you sign up for a one-year membership, promo code VIP70 will drop your annual price from $69 to $48. If you’re sure you want to commit, use this link instead to get a special two year plan for $79 with code 2YSpecial2017. Lifehacker has recommended Nord in some previous guides, but if you have any firsthand experience with the service, sound off in the comments!

TOP HOME DEALS

Hoover’s new REACT line of vacuums is full of smart features, and the Pet Plus model just got a massive price drop, for one day only.

The namesake feature of the REACT is a suite of sensors that detect what kind of floor you’re on, and adjust the brush head speed accordingly. Vacuum bristles can push dirt away on hard floors at the least, and actually damage their finish at the worst, so this is a feature that could actually pay for itself over time, especially if you’re one who never remembers to change your vacuum’s mode manually.

As a full-sized premium vacuum, you also get an accessory hose with a number of attachments, including a motorized turbine tool to clean pet hair off of furniture. It also has, uh, Bluetooth? And an app? I dunno, man.

$179 is an all-time low, about $60 less than usual, and the first time Amazon’s ever sold this thing for less than $220. Just remember that it’s a Gold Box deal, meaning this price is only available today, or until sold out.

Your stick vacuum won’t do you any good on shelves, in small closets, or in your car, but a small hand vacuum can make up the difference. This 20V Pivot vacuum runs on a lithium battery, and as the name suggest, its head pivots to help you reach every nook and cranny, including the awkward spaces under your car seats.

If excessive noise or utter silence makes it difficult for you to doze off, this white noise machine might be the key to a better night’s sleep.

Marpac’s Dohm-DS boasts a 4.3 star average on over 11,000 reviews (!!!), and Amazon’s offering a $5 coupon on the tan model today. Not the best deal we’ve ever seen, but it is the lowest price we’ve seen in a couple of months, and you can’t put a price on better sleep.

Note: $5 discount will be taken at checkout.

Buying headlight bulbs for your car before you need them will save you an inconvenient (and if it’s at night or raining, potentially illegal) trip to the auto parts store, and with this $5 Amazon coupon, you might as well stock up.

Philips CrystalVision bulbs are the brightest bulbs offered and come in tons of different sizes to fit most vehicles. Just note that you won’t see the $5 discount until checkout, and don’t forget to do a little Googling to make sure you’re getting the right set.

It’s a little over 3 weeks until Halloween, so it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to pass out to the trick-or-treaters (or keep for yourself). Amazon is offering a whole pillow case-full of coupons on Halloween candy, so might as well stock up now. The discount won’t show up you check out, but all of these prices are about as low as they go.

If you think you’ll have guests coming in for the holidays, they won’t mind sleeping on this raised queen air mattress from Intex, complete with built-in pump. It doesn’t include a never-flat pump like some other deals we’ve seen, but for $40, it’s still a great value.

An endless supply of chips and cookies in my pantry is a dream, and it looks like Amazon wants to make that a reality. Use Subscribe & Save (you can always cancel) and grab a massive variety pack of Frito-Lay products for $14. Send me your Funyuns if you don’t want them.

The classic Blender Bottle is exactly what it sounds like; a bottle that blends. Just add the ingredients for your favorite protein shakes, smoothies, or even pancake batter, shake vigorously, and start drinking (unless it’s pancake batter, you animal). These typically sell for about $7 or $8 each, so getting three for $16 is a solid deal.

If you’re ready to dive into the Philips Hue ecosystem, the third generation starter kit is down to $141 right now, one of the best prices we’ve seen, complete with three bulbs and a hub.

If you have an Echo voice assistant already, this is one of the coolest accessories out there that it works with. Once you start controlling your lights with your voice, there’s no going back.

Canvas prints offer a great bang for your buck when it comes to decorating your walls, and that’s especially true when you can get them for 40% off. This deal is through Amazon’s photo printing service, and brings prices down to as low as $12 for an 8x10, or $54 for a 20x24. Just be sure to use code FALLDECOR40 at checkout to get the deal.

If you like the idea of a low-profile vent mount for your phone, but don’t want to stick a magnet against the back of your device, iOttie’s One Touch Mini is exactly what you’re looking for. Amazon’s running a $2 coupon right now that brings it down to $18, which isn’t an all-time low, but price drops from its usual $20 are relatively rare.

If you live in a city with Amazon Prime Now, but haven’t yet tried it, you can save $10 on your first order with promo code 10PRIMENOW.

All you have to do is build a cart with at least $20 worth of eligible goods from Amazon, and enter that code at checkout to get the deal. I’ve literally built Prime Now orders in the past that consisted of nothing but ice cream and junk food, but they recently added a selection of healthier stuff from Whole Foods as well, so you should have no trouble taking advantage.

Just remember that this deal is only available in cities with Prime Now service, and only first time Prime Now customers are eligible.

These $13 gloves let you grab a hot pan out of the oven, pull meat right off a grill, or even turn logs in an active campfire without getting burned, like some kind of superhero. We’ve seen silicone barbecue gloves for less than this in the past, but these are rated for much higher temperatures, and should be more flexible as well.

I was in the camp of people who felt like essential oils and aromatherapy diffusers were glorified Glade plug-ins. And they are to some extent, but the fact you can use natural essential oils to create the scent, rather than whatever Glade uses, is a real game changer. This 12-pack of essential oils is on sale today for just $13 with promo code KINJASA5.

The peppermint and eucalyptus scents can help with migraines, the lavender can help calm you and make you sleepy, and the orange scents are useful for cleaning. So $13 isn’t bad when you consider all the different ways you can use it.

Grab a diffuser if don’t have one yet too.

Kitchen scales are a necessity, especially if you do any baking. This one has a nice modern look and easy-to-clean glass top. Today, you can buy it for just $12 (with code 99YBRXW4) and weigh in on your own.

Most smart lighting systems are basically enhancements of the light bulbs we’ve been using for decades, but why not use all that technology to make something more artistic?

Update: Take an extra $10 off with promo code HOMEDEPOT10. That’s good for $10 off any $100 order.

The Nanoleaf Aurora is a smart lighting system based on a series of flat, interconnected triangles that you can arrange on your wall in any pattern you want. They probably won’t be your primary source of light, but with a little creativity, they can be a centerpiece of your home’s decoration. Just create recipes with your choice of colors and brightnesses, and trigger them with your smartphone, Google Home, or Alexa-enabled device. It’ll even work with IFTTT, so you could, say, light up your triangles your team’s colors whenever they play.

The starter kit includes a controller and nine panels (you can add up to 21 more, sold separately), and it’s down to $170 at Home Depot right now with code HOMEDEPOT10, down from its usual $200.

Anker’s home goods brand, Eufy, put its uber-popular copper string lights back on sale today for $10 today, the best price we’ve seen since April. This particular set doesn’t include a remote, but at this price, it’s a fine option for indoor or outdoor decorating.

The shower head that came preinstalled in your home or apartment is probably terrible, but if you don’t have the cash to upgrade it to a Delta In2ition, the Delta 75152 is a fantastic option for just $17.

Aside from a single switch that toggles between 2.5 and 1.85 gallons per minute, this showerhead doesn’t have any notable features to speak of. But I can tell you from years of experience that its water coverage is beyond excellent. Each of the four valves uses Delta’s H2Okinetic system to agitate the water and create a full, perfectly dispersed wall of water, rather than four individual streams. It’s a difficult sensation to describe, but I absolutely recommend you try it for yourself, especially at this price.

TOP LIFESTYLE DEALS

Gone are the days where you started sweating just getting dressed in the moring (hopefully). It’s time to prepare for the temperature to drop. Columbia is giving you up to 70% off select styles when you use the code COLOCT70 at check out. Pick up layering pieces, t-shirts, and outerwear that’s perfect for the fluctuating temperatures, for a lot less than normal.

If it’s measurable, Dr. Meter probably makes something to measure it. Our readers have bought thousands of laser distance measures, IR thermometers, luggage scales, soil moisture meters, and more from them over the years, and now, they finally have a smart bathroom scale.

This operates just like a regular bathroom scale, except it connects to your phone over Bluetooth to store all of your measurements, so you can track how much weight you’re losing (or gaining, the holidays are coming up) over time. Get it for $34 with promo code KR7LP3Z9.

If the name & Other Stories doesn’t ring a bell, get ready for a wardrobe intervention. The brand is H&M’s sophisticated sister, and right now, they’re marking down hundreds of items, from clothing, to candles, to their stellar beauty products. Pick up styles for every season for as low as $5.

Dorco’s the be-all, end-all of affordable shaving gear, but $11 for the Pace 6+ six-blade razor, six cartridges, and a tube of shaving cream is one of their best deals yet. Just use code KINJAT4 at checkout to get the deal, plus free shipping.

If you’ve got the space for it, this Schwinn elliptical machine is about $150 off its usual price, and cheaper than ever. If it means you don’t have to pay for a gym membership, it’ll pay for itself. Plus, you can shower in your own bathroom after you’re done, without flip flops or proudly naked old people.

For me, the most common answer to “Where did you get that?” is H&M. The stores are mad houses and the clearance sections are disorganized, but digging through them is so worth it. Right now, they’re having one of their massive sales, with up to 60% off hundreds of things, and I’ll be there’s something in there that you’ll want.

And if you weren’t aware, their Home section is pretty spot on.

Sperry is ready to outfit your feet in fall styles with a couple deals for you to choose from. Right now, they’re taking 30% off a ton of classic styles, no code needed. That includes the boat shoes we all know and sometimes love, sandals, and even some coats and sweaters for the upcoming fall weather.

It may not be sandal weather everywhere right now, but $60 Birkenstock Gizeh sandals are nothing to pass up. Use the code KINJAGIZEH at check out and knock $20 off the already reduced price and grab these in either Black or Onyx. Treat your feet to the world-renowned footbeds of Birkenstocks, because they’re cool again.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Banana Republic, Old Navy, and GAP are in cahoots when it comes to sales; they are owned by the same company, after all. But with 40% off coming from all three retailers when you use the code FAMILY, maybe you get a whole new wardrobe by the end of summer.

If you missed out on our earlier Privé Revaux exclusive discounts over the summer in the summer, here’s another chance to pick from 35 great-looking frames for just $21-$24 each.

If you aren’t yet a Uniqlo HEATTECH convert, $10 tees, turtlenecks, leggings, and more, for both men and women, may do the trick. They will keep you warm throughout the winter and looking like more like an adult who knows how to dress for the weather, rather than Ralphie’s brother in A Christmas Story.

Scare your way through thousands of Halloween costumes and accessories at Target, all buy one get one 50%. They have costumes for all your ghouls and little trolls - shop mens, womens, kids, and pets.

It might feel early, but be honest with yourself - you’re not going to have time to make your own.

TOP MEDIA DEALS

If you like to read, and aren’t opposed to doing it on an electronic device of some sort, here’s your no-brainer deal of the day. Humble’s latest bundle features two dozen DRM-free ebooks, and you can get them all for as little as $18, or some for just $1.

These aren’t books you’d find in the budget bin at the bookstore either. The list includes classics like Octavia Butler’s Dawn, John Brunner’s Shockwave Rider and All My Sins Remembered by Joe Haldeman.

As always with Humble Bundles, the titles are locked behind a few different price tiers, but you can pay whatever you want, and a portion of the proceeds will go to charity.

Amazon always offers a free one-month trial of its Audible audiobook service, but for a limited time, they’re also tossing in an extra free book credit to sweeten the pot. That’s in addition to the book you normally get with the trial, and each credit is valid for any title in the Audible library. The best part? The books you choose are yours to keep, even if you cancel the trial before it renews.

Just note that this deal is only valid for new Audible members only.

Watch Wesley’s and Buttercup’s great love story and Inigo Montoya hunt for his father’s killer over and over again for just $8 today.

Have fun stormin’ da castle.

If you want to jog your memory before seeing Blade Runner 2049, or <gasp> have never seen the original, you can own the Blade Runner: The Final Cut on Amazon Instant Video for just $7 today, if you’re a Prime member. GKIDS is preparing to re-release a bunch of Studio Ghibli classics on Blu-ray, and you can preorder them for $17-$18 right now on Amazon.

Need a Westeros fix now that Game of Thrones is on a long break and George R.R. Martin doesn’t have any pages? A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a prequel novella recounting the adventures of Sir Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg, who’s actually...nah, I don’t want to spoil it.

Download it to your Kindle today for just $4.

By the way, Kindles also happen to be on sale right now.

TOP GAMING DEALS

Your favorite football team is probably garbage; most of them are. But even if they’re the Cleveland Browns, the beauty of Madden is that you can rebuild them and take them to the Super Bowl. Or give up on the city and move the team to San Antonio. Amazon has Madden NFL 18 marked down to $45 right now on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Don’t forget your free popcorn!

The Humble Monthly subscription plan delivers you a selection of new games (to keep!) every month, gives you 10% off everything in the Humble Store, and donates 5% of each month’s proceeds to charity, but if all that wasn’t enough to get you to sign up, how about a copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider?

Today’s your last chance to get Rise, plus a whole bunch of other games with your membership. Tomorrow, new games will be released, and you’ll get those too, even as a brand new member. The best part? The games are yours to keep even if you cancel.

Month-to-month subscriptions cost $12, and can be canceled any time, but you can save more if you pre-pay for longer periods.

The last time Amazon had a big board game sale, Zombicide Black Plague stood out in the comments as a reader favorite. If you missed out on that deal though, it’s down to $63 today, which while not an all-time low, is definitely below its regular price range.

Black Plague is a cooperative board game for 1 to 6 players that brings the relentless zombie-killing action of Zombicide into a brand new fantasy setting. Control a party of survivors as they fight to rid the land of an invasion of zombies and Necromancers controlled by the game itself. Survivors find weapons, learn spells, battle zombies, and gain experience. The more experienced they get, the more powerful they become, but the more zombies rise to face them!

Your goal is simple: complete the quest, kill as many zombies as possible, and don’t die! Survivors will be up against slow shambling zombies, Runners, Fatties and the deadly Abomination, made famous in previous Zombicide games. However, you’ll also be up against the powerful new Necromancers. Collect your friends, find epic loot, cast spells, and take the zombie body count to new heights!

Yakuza 0 is the “closest thing video games have to a prime-time soap opera,” and Amazon has it for an all-time low $40 today.

Humble is mostly known for selling games, but today, they’re selling stuff to help you make those games yourself.

The bundle includes a number of RPG Maker software programs, plus a few full RPG games to give you inspiration. Purchased separately, all of the software would cost nearly $700, but today, you can get it all for as little as $15.

The charging dock that your DualShock 4s deserve is only $10 right now, and it even comes with some analog stick covers that you’ll most likely never use.

Super Mario Odyssey is only about a month away, and here’s a friendly reminder that if you have Amazon Prime, you can preorder it for $12 off (discount shown at checkout). This deal is valid up until release day, but Amazon’s been known to sell out of preorders of popular Nintendo games in the past, so it might behoove you to place your order early.

Don’t have a Switch yet? Amazon has preorders of the Super Mario Odyssey edition in stock, or you can get one without a bundled game immediately, in either Gray or Neon.

Update: Back in stock!

Start your own rebellion with this LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, down to just $35. With 24 different gifts, like Rey’s speeder, an At-ST, a TIE Striker, Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle, and more. Even reenact The Force Awakens with the Jakku playmat (brooding Luke Skywalker on a cliff, not included). They also somehow made BB-8 even more adorable, by giving him a snowboard and hat, which is reason enough to buy this.

Humble’s newest bundle comes courtesy of Stardock Entertainment, with titles like The Political Machine 2016, Galactic Civilizations III, and Offworld Trading Company included across three different tiers. As always, you can name your own price, and a portion of the proceeds to charity, but you’ll have to pony up at least $15 to get all of the games.
