USB-C to Lightning cables are the way of the future (Apple’s even including them with the new iPhone 11 Pros), and this $10 cable deal from RAVPower (with promo code KINJA916) is one of the most affordable we’ve seen to date. That costs more than a regular third party Lightning cable, but if you plug it into a USB-C PD charger, it’ll charge your iPhone at 18W. With regular Lightning cables, you’re limited to 12W.
For context, that means you can charge a newer iPhone from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes, which can really pay dividends while you’re traveling, and want to get as much juice as possible into your phone before you board a flight. Or when you’re about to head out for the night, and want to be sure you’ll have enough battery to order an Uber home.
Just note that fast charging is limited to the iPhone 8 or newer.
In today’s Gold Box, Amazon is discounting two very different batteries, the $187 Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer and the $18 Jackery Armor 9000mAh Power Bank.
The Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer is basically a lithium-ion power station, which can power mini fridges and small TVs in your campsite , in addition to powering up your mobile devices via USB. While the Jackery Armor 9000mAh battery is a rugged, waterproof battery bank that’s designed to take on-the-go. It even has a flashlight and it’s also shockproof, so it’s helpful in a pinch.
These prices are the lowest we’ve ever seen on these particular devices, and this sale will only last until the end of the day, or until sold out. So make sure to give ‘em a look before they disappear.
One of the nice things about Apple Watches is that whether you bought an original model years ago, or have a Series 5 arriving tomorrow, the same bands will fit on all of them.
For a limited time, these inexpensive nylon sport bands are marked down to just $7, in a ton of different colors (though not quite all of the colors on the product page, unfortunately). Just be sure to get the right size for your watch.
Want to keep your new (or slightly older) iPhone looking pristine? 2-packs of Anker glass screen protectors are just $3 today with promo code GLASP299. Your choices with this deal can fit either the iPhone XR/iPhone 11, or the iPhone XS Max/iPhone 11 Pro Max. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on the X/XS/11 Pro line.
Love Alexa, and wish you could take her with you on your commute? Anker’s running the best deal ever on their hands-free, Alexa-enabled car charger today after you clip the 11% coupon (the list price is already a significant discount from its usual price, as it stands)
You can check out my full impressions here, but the Roav VIVA from Anker does an admirable job of providing hands-free Alexa access while you’re driving, including turn-by-turn directions, your daily briefing, and even third party Alexa apps like Jeopardy. As befitting an Anker product, it’s also a dual port car charger, albeit an awkwardly designed one.
The great thing about Philips Hue is that your fancy lighting profiles aren’t limited to standard bulbs; the Hue LighStrip Plus lets you to stick a rope of color-changing, Wi-Fi connected lights anywhere in your house.
This LightStrip Plus is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, and it hardly ever goes on sale, but while supplies last, you can pick it up for $52 refurbished from Woot, plus a bonus extension kit that’ll give you 10' of total lighting. Bonus: Once the new Hue HDMI Sync Box comes out next month, you’ll be able to sync your lights with whatever’s playing on your TV.
If you spent all your money on a new iPhone, and thus want a cheaper case, Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid case is on sale for under $10 through the company’s eBay storefront right now. The back of the case is clear (the sides come in both clear and black), so you can show off your sexy new Midnight Green phone. The deal is available for all three new iPhones.
Today’s Amazon Gold Box is chock-full of popular Logitech peripherals for work and play. Inside, you’ll find a lot of mechanical keyboards, headphones, speakers, and work mice.
Are you looking for a mechanical keyboard? Perhaps one that’s super portable? This sale has options for you. Want one of the best work mice you can buy? It’s here, too and in two colors.
For all the deals though, be sure to head over to Amazon. Just be warned, like all Gold Box deals, these prices will only stick around until the end of the day.
Anyone that charges their phone wirelessly knows that having one Qi charger in the house isn’t enough. No, you want them on just about every horizontal surface, so that you can ABC (Always Be Charging).
Anker’s PowerWave stands hold your phone at a good viewing angle, support 7.5W iPhone charging (with a Quick Charge wall adapter - not included), and are only $15 each when you buy a two-pack today. Just use promo code KJEB2524 at checkout to get the deal.

Upgrading your skillet to tri-ply can make a huge difference in the way you cook, but upgrading your stockpot should be priority number two. Since you’re mostly going to be using it when you need to boil a large quantity of liquids, the even-heating aluminum core that extends all the way up the sides can seriously speed up your recipes. This model from Cuisinart holds 12 quarts, and has never been cheaper.
Lysol wipes are one of the easiest ways to wipe down cabinets, and they’re a gift sent from the heavens whenever someone in your house has a cold. We’ve all had a spatula melt on us. Maybe not right away, but slowly over time, they start to warp and look funky after prolonged exposure to heat. Thankfully, that won’t be an issue if you buy a new one during the 40% Off Spatula-Palooza Sale at ThermoWorks. During the limited-time sale, you can get ThermoWork’s high-temp silicone spatula for $6.
The spatulas are dishwasher safe and can withstand temperatures up to 600°F. ThermoWorks Spoonula, a smaller spatula that is shaped more like a spoon, is also 40% off during the sale.
Sitting for eight hours a day hunched over your desk isn’t great for you, we all know this. But then, most of us don’t really want to stand at a desk all day either. The solution? Desk risers that let you lift or lower your computer on demand.
Halter makes them in a bunch of different colors and sizes, and all of the risers on this page are 30% off today. Just note that you won’t see the discount until checkout.
Note: If the code doesn’t automatically apply for some reason, use code 65NIDNRU at checkout.

Today’s Best Gaming Deals
Super Mario Maker 2 has enough Nintendo-crafted Mario levels to be worth its $60 MSRP, and the endless ecosystem of player-created levels is one of the most creative spaces in all of gaming. If you were holding out for a deal though, you can grab a copy on eBay today for $47.
In one giant leap for deal-kind, LEGO’s stunning Saturn V Apollo is back on sale for an entirely reasonable $100 right now, a $20 discount from its usual price, and the best deal we’ve seen since the 2018 holiday season.
Why is it worth over $100? Well, it has 1,969 pieces (get it?), the main spacecraft is more than three feet tall when assembled, and the set allows you to simulate an entire mission, from launch to splashdown. We’re kind of bummed that it doesn’t come with a pack of astronaut ice cream for extra realism (and deliciousness!), but you can always get that at Amazon.
Before another commenter yells at me “it isn’t even Halloween, enough Christmas stuff,” sorry friend. LEGO doesn’t care. Christmas shopping starts right now. The LEGO Stars Wars Advent Calendar is 280 pieces and includes 24 mini-figures, like Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, a Porg, and more. The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar is 305 pieces and includes seven mini-figures (obviously that includes Ron, Harry, and Hermione).
Both calendars are a couple of bucks off today, so you’ll want to get them now before they jack up the price for Christmas.

Deals You May Have Missed
I’ve gotta say, I didn’t realize anyone had fond memories of the gigantic original Xbox controller, but Hyperkin brought it back for the Xbox One and PC for a reason, I suppose. The Duke is almost entirely faithful to the original, for better or worse, but added in a couple of small shoulder buttons to mirror the black and white buttons, and an OLED screen on the front that plays the original Xbox’s boot animation when you start using the controller. Was that necessary? Hell no. But it’s awesome.
The Duke came out last year for $70, but now it’s marked down to an all-time low $39 on Amazon in both black and green today.
If you haven’t had the chance to pre-order your Sega Genesis Mini, now’s the perfect time. Take advantage of this Walmart offer for $10 off the console bundled with 6-button Innex controller.
Relive a ton of classic games like Castlevania: Bloodlines, Shining Force and Shinobi 3 in a well-designed package.
While the re-make of the much-loved console comes with two controllers, the bundle includes a 6-button version. This is a significant improvement over the 3-button controllers available on the base system.
The console ships in a few days, so make sure to hop on this deal before it’s history.
Time to get wine drunk and download a copy of My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide to Eating, Drinking, and Going with Your Gut by Hannah Hart. Right now, Kindle users can get the book for $3. Hopefully, this cookbook can help you cut back on buying pizza at 2 A.M., or spending $40 on UberEats to get a McFlurry and fries (me).
Cult-favorite curly hair brand DevaCurl is blowing out a selection of curl-friendly favorites, including their Original, Delight, and Decadence shampoo and conditioner sets, with their Fall Savings Sale, happening now. Those who have yet to jump on the No-Poo bandwagon home should bring home a fan favorite “The Kit For All Curl Kind” set for a travel-sized sampling of DevaCurl’s line. Or just stock up on stylers and a couple 32-ouncers, because you’ll need more shampoo and/or conditioner at some point. Just use promo code HELLOFALL to get 25% off and start curling up.
Listen, there’s nothing wrong with getting older. But if you wish that you could stop time when it comes to your skin, consider picking up this Mario Badescu Peptide Renewal Serum, now down from its usual price of $45 to just $38. Here’s what our own Style Girlfriend had to say about it:
It’s pumped full of collagen-boosting peptides to help skin look smoother, lifted and more toned. Plus, white willow bark exfoliates to make dull skin look more radiant. Yes, radiant I said goddamnit!
ExOfficio’s Give-N-Go boxer briefs were a finalist in our best men’s underwear Co-Op, and our readers have gone on to purchase tens of thousands of pairs (seriousy!) since.

To get the deal, you’ll need to pay for the underwear with your Prime credit card, and they’ll have to be shipped and sold by Amazon.com directly. Just know you may have to enter your email address in order to shop (sorry). Be sure to bag this deal soon; the savings will only last for a few more days.
Are you tired of perfectly folding your laundry like Marie Kondo, but still want to be somewhat organized? Stop folding your underwear and instead get this organizer to keep things in their place. The Simple Houseware Foldable Cloth Storage Box is $14 and comes with six bins to help you get your underwear drawer in order. We can’t promise that your washing machine won’t eat your socks, but at least you’ll have a tidy place to put what socks you do have left.
Look, just because summer is ending that doesn’t mean the bugs are dead (or hiding) just yet. If you want to enjoy a nice afternoon or night outside on your porch, you don’t need to be eaten alive. The Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repeller is $10 off right now on Amazon. While it is great to put in your backyard, it is also travel-friendly because it is TSA-compliant for air travel. So if you’re booking a trip to Mexico when the weather gets colder, you might want to toss this in your suitcase to be safe.

You never want too much baking soda in your cookies. Right now, you can get Etekcity Food Digital Scale for $14 only Amazon. The removable bowl makes pouring and mixing easier than ever when using this scale.
You might not have heard of Kyoku, but we found their Daimyo damascus steel chef’s knife to be a joy to use, and incredibly beautiful to look at to boot.
Now, you can save $20 on the blade with promo code KYOKUGOA, bringing it down to $80. If you’re still hacking away at onions with the dull, chipped knife you bought back in college, this will completely change the way you cook. And since sharp knives are less prone to slipping, it’ll be safer to use too. You don’t want to cut your finger off, do you? No? Buy this knife.
This $3 taco holder seems nice, and it solves a real problem, but even if you have no intention of buying it, take a few minutes out of your day and go read the reviews. As our deal researcher, Corey, put it, “reviews on that make me feel like it can cure cancer.”
These normally sell for $6 or more, so don’t miss your chance to take a bite out of this deal.
For just $24, you can have 44 small plastic drawers to hold nails! Screws! Craft supplies! Rubber bands! Push pins! Marbles! Charging cables! Sewing supplies! First aid things! Other small doodads that I can’t think of that you can leave in the comments!
Pair it with a label maker, and you’ll basically be an organization deity.
For a low $30, you can make stew like a pro with this Bella Pro Series 10-qt. Stainless Steel Slow Cooker. Everything good in life involves a slow cooking process and man, it’s almost (is?) fall so this is the perfect time to invest in a brand new, family-sized 10 qt. model.
Instant Pots are flashy, and fast and all the rage nowadays. But this is a solid alternative to that and it’s just $30. I love making a pork shoulder with my slow cooker and with this... well, I can buy bigger chunks.
*chef’s kiss* What a deal.
Do you use paper towels? Laundry detergent? Ziploc bags? Assuming the answer is yes, you stand to save money from this limited time Amazon promotion. Just spend $50 on household essentials on this page, and you’ll get $15 off at checkout. Just make sure they’re all shipped and sold by Amazon.com directly to be eligible.
For just $30 (compared to the $69 Apple would charge), this 61W USB-C charger from RAVPower will charge your laptop (and anything smaller than a laptop) just as quickly as Apple’s 13" MacBook Pro charger.
And oh yeah, it also has a bonus USB charging port so you can plug your phone in too. It’ll sap a little bit of wattage from the USB-C port, but you could still comfortably charge almost any two devices at once with this thing. Today’s price is $6 less than usual, no promo code required.
$40 for an Xbox One controller is a notable deal any time—with few exceptions, they don’t really get cheaper than this—but it’s particularly useful this week. For, you see, come Thursday with the release of iOS 13, you’ll be able to use this controller to play games on your iPhone, your iPad, and even your Apple TV.
It doesn’t come with an art book like the elusive Dreamer Edition, but if you just want to get a standard copy of Link’s Awakening, you can order it from Rakuten today for $50 with promo code DS9. Just note that you’ll have to be signed into a Rakuten account for the promo code to work.
The flashlight on your phone is fine for stumbling to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but for any situation where you want to see more than a few feet in front of you, it’s worth investing in a dedicated torch.
Anker’s upgraded LC40 now features a rechargeable battery (can you believe Anker ever sold one that didn’t?) that can run for up to 50 hours on low power mode, or for six with the light’s brightness maxed out at 400 lumens Of course, it recharges over USB (even from a USB battery pack, natch), and its IP65 rating means it can stand up to the elements. It normally costs $20, but they’re putting it in the spotlight this week with a discount to $17.
If you don’t need a rechargeable battery, the 300 lumen LC30 runs off AAA batteries, and is on sale for just $10 after you clip the coupon code on the page.
Amazon’s in-house Goodthreads brand is always affordable, but for a limited time, a selection of its men’s shirts are even cheaper than usual.
I own a couple of their shirts (including this chambray, in a different color), and they’re both really great quality for the price. Today, you can save on fall flannels, classic Oxfords, fashionable dobby shirts, and a lot more. Like the upcoming Glow, it includes two nozzles (the other’s for feminine cleaning), brass fittings, and a slim, easy-to-install design. Trust us, your tush will thank you.

I, for one, suggest you get two: one black and one teal (which is a few cents cheaper, btw.) It’s an easy way to visually separate what’s in each footlocker, and you get free shipping.

If you want the durability and lifetime warranty of Anker’s PowerLine II charging cables, but you own a lot of different devices, this $11 microUSB cable (with promo code ANKER8436.) includes Lightning and USB-C adapters attached to the end. It’s a little awkward looking, but it’s nice to know you’ll always have the right cable handy.
Audio Technica’s venerable ATH-M40x headphones (along with their larger M50x sibling) are our readers’ favorite wired headphones, and you can try on a pair for $79 right now, about $20 less than usual. It might be a little bit of a stretch to buy wired headphones in 2019, but between the M40x’s build quality, comfort, flat tuning response, and widely lauded sound quality, they’d make for great office headphones, where Bluetooth isn’t as big a deal.
Not to build up your expectations, but you shouldn’t block out this deal on a classic Jenga set: Right now, the price on this game has come tumbling down to just $6 on Amazon. So start building your towering masterpiece before this discount falls to pieces.

Rumpl’s Nanoloft Puffy Blanket is already made from post-consumer recycled materials, but now, the environmentally friendly brand is doubling down on their efforts to save the planet: Through the end of the month, when you purchase any Nanoloft blanket, you’ll receive a HydroFlask water bottle—one of our readers’ favorites—for free. Not today, single-use plastics! Here’s what else we had to say about the feature-packed blankets on The Inventory:
But unlike previous blanket iterations, the NanoLoft is filled with the company’s first ever synthetic alternative to down, made up of tiny circular clusters of fiber that mimic the properties of down clusters in that they effectively trap heat. In addition, each NanoLoft blanket is made from 60 recycled plastic bottles that’ve been reclaimed and re-spun into high-quality polyester thread; via this technique, the company projects that by the end of 2019, Rumpl will have recycled three million plastic bottles that would otherwise have ended up in landfills.

And if you’re concerned about privacy, it’s also the first Echo device with a physical switch that covers up the camera lens when you aren’t using it.

Today, the floodgates opened for pre-ordering the next batch of Apple’s flagship smartphones and with it, a ton of promotions from multiple storefronts.
Here’s what each store is offering:
- AT&T is offering a BOGO promotion, where if you pre-order an eligible iPhone, you can pick up a second for free. (Just a heads up, you’ll find the details under the “special offers” link in the product page.)
- Apple, Best Buy and T-Mobile offer a maximum $550 discount with an eligible trade-in, while Verizon’s offer tops out at $500. Sprint will deduct the value of your trade-in from each installment payment via their Sprint Flex lease. Only certain phones are eligible for the maximum trade-in value and other phones will get you smaller discounts, just as long as they’re made by Apple, Samsung, Google and LG.
- Sam’s Club will send you a $200 gift card with your pre-order and activation.
- Walmart keeps it simple by offering $100 off the purchase and activation of an iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro. This offer only works with an installment plan, but luckily, there’s no penalty if you choose to pay it off early.
Amazon offering discounts on Apple products? Not too surprising. Amazon offering discounts on Apple products that aren’t even out yet though? That’s something new.
Releasing September 30, the new entry level iPad features a 10.2" screen (up from 9.7" on its predecessor), a smart connector for Apple’s smart keyboards (also on sale), and...not a ton else that’s new. It’s an iPad. It’s good. It’s pretty affordable. The 128GB version is the one you want, and preorders are available for $400, down from the $429 MSRP.

Just load up your cart with as much or as little jerky as you want, and use promo code Kinja25 at checkout to watch the price shrivel up like so much salted meat.
How do you do, fellow kids? If you’ve never had Prime Student before because you were a broke college kid, you’re in luck. Thanks to an offer from Sprint, new Amazon Prime Student customers can get their first six months for free.
In order to sign up for Prime Student, you need an active school email address and will need to enter an expected graduation year. When signing up, you will need to select which plan you’d like after your free six-month trial. You can either select a monthly plan, which is $6.49 a month or pay a lump sum of $59 for an annual plan, which is less than $5 a month.
With Prime Student, you’ll get free two-day shipping on all Prime-eligible orders, Prime movies and TV shows, music streaming, photo storage, and more. Additionally, Prime Student members are able to get Amazon Music Unlimited for $1 a month.
20 Super Nintendo games are now on the Nintendo Switch for free with your Nintendo Switch Online membership. And if you’ve got Amazon Prime, you can get a year’s worth of Nintendo Switch Online for free.
Until September 24, Twitch Prime subscribers can get up to a year of Nintendo Switch Online benefits, including online play and access to classic NES games and SNES games. Membership will also give you the ability to purchase the $30 retro SNES controllers.
If you’ve got Amazon Prime, you can sign up for Twitch Prime for free.
Here’s how it works: You can claim the 3-months membership offer now by linking your Twitch and Nintendo accounts, then come back to claim the 9-month individual membership 60 days later, once it unlocks. Just set a calendar appointment! And if you’re already an individual Nintendo Switch online member (no family memberships, sorry), this deal just extends your renewal date for free.
Back in March, Private Internet Access (our readers’ favorite VPN service) raised its prices for the first time ever. And while our readers can still get an exclusive 3-years for $99 plan, they just lowered their other plans back to their old prices for a limited time.
faThe reason this is a big deal is that you can renew your membership as many times as you want at whatever price you originally paid. Once the prices go back to normal, you’ll still be locked into the lower rate.
Here are the new (old) promotional prices, along with what you’d normally pay:
- 1 month: $6.95 (down from $9.99)
- 1 year: $39.95 (down from $71.88)
Clearly, the annual plan is the sweet spot here if you don’t want to commit to the three-year plan, but $6.95/month for 10 simultaneous connections, clients for just about every conceivable device, and servers in 32 countries (foreign Netflix, anyone?). We aren’t sure when the prices will go back up, so you probably want to lock in your account ASAP.
