The best camera is the one you have with you, but that’s much more likely to be your DSLR if you take advantage of today’s Amazon Gold Box.
Inside, you’ll find a variety of photography accessories, most notably a bunch of Case Logic camera bags and slings to carry all of your cameras, lenses, and gear. Options start around $30, so there’s a bag for every level of photographer in here. A few are below, but head over to Amazon to see them all.
You’ll also find some accessories like tripods, hardside cases, and even a monitor calibration tool so your colors are dialed in exactly as you want them. Just note that like all Gold Box deals, these prices are only available today, or until sold out.
The day will come where all USB ports you regularly interact with in the world will be USB-C ports. Until then, you’ll need some USB-A to USB-C cables to help manage the transition. Get five nylon-braided cables of various length today for $15 with promo code AUKECMD2.
You can also get three 3' cables for $10, but they aren’t braided.
Vertical surge protectors (power towers, as I like to call them) seem to be having a moment right now, and this one includes eight AC outlets and six USB ports for just $31 with promo code ZY3FFGC8. If that’s not enough power for your desk, you might need a tech intervention.
This aluminum gadget stand is foldable, portable, can hold pretty much any mobile device, and is only $9. What’s not to love?
Mesh routers are so hot right now, and Linksys’ take on the concept is down to $330 for a 3-pack today (with code KINJAVELOP), if you don’t mind buying a refurb.
The Velop works like pretty much any other mesh networking system: One router plugs into your modem, and the rest can basically go anywhere in your home to extend the network. But it has a stellar 4.5 star review average on Amazon (where it sells for a whopping $500 new), and it even supports Alexa commands.
We see deals almost every day on Bluetooth earbuds, but if you prefer the comfort and sound isolation of over-ears, Modern Portable’s well-reviewed Super66s are down to $50 in today’s Gold Box, about $10 less than usual. These have all the advantages of Bluetooth earbuds, including a built-in mic, but when your battery dies, you can just plug in the included AUX cable to use them as regular headphones.
Just remember that like all Gold Box deals, this price is only available today, and it’s liable to sell out early.
If you have any international travel plans coming up, pick up a travel adapter or two for $11 each with code 3721XB77. This one has four USB ports so you can charge all your device at once and get back to exploring.
iPhone X preorders go live on Friday, but you can get a head start on your accessories with these exclusive discounts from Anker.
First up, the PowerPort Speed USB-C charger is basically the Anker equivalent of Apple’s $49 MacBook charger, except it’s only $21. If you buy a USB-C to Lightning cable from Apple, this is the fastest way to charge your new iPhone (though it’s not that much faster than a regular 12W charger).
Speaking of Lightning cables, you can never have enough of them, and Anker’s nylon-wrapped PowerLine+ cables are on sale as well. You’ve never felt a cable this nice before.
And of course, if you get your hands on a shiny new iPhone X, you’re going to want to keep it safe, so you can choose from a variety of discounted cases.
Samsung’s quantum dot-powered Q7 TV isn’t exactly easy on the bank account, but it would be a stunning upgrade to your home theater, and Amazon just knocked $200 off the previous going rate of the 55" model.
You can read all about quantum dots here, but the long and short of it that they’re the backbone of a backlighting technology that can produce OLED-quality images on a less expensive LCD panel.
Okay, so with that background out of the way, Samsung’s 2017 Q-series TVs utilize quantum dots to great effect. That Gizmodo review is about the Q9, rather than the Q7 that’s on sale today, but most of it should apply to either set. The Q7 has fewer local dimming zones and a less-premium industrial design, but it’ll still be the best looking TV you’ve ever owned. We’ve seen a couple of $1800 deals on the 65" model from MassDrop, but this is a great price if you don’t have that much space, or want to take advantage of Prime shipping.
It’s backordered by a few weeks, and still priced at a premium by virtue of being cutting edge, but $124 is the best price Amazon’s ever offered on this 256GB microSD card, and about $26 less than usual. If you need to store a lot of 4K footage from your action cam, or games on your Switch, this is as big as these cards come.
Update: There was a slightly slower model of this card available for $100 last week during an Amazon Gold Box deal.
There’s a new Amazon Echo coming out at the end of the month, and that means great closeout deals on the old model. Woot has them brand new for $80 shipped in both black and white right now, which is the best price we’ve ever seen.
Smart outlet switches have become the atomic unit of smart home gadgetry, and you can get two Alexa-compatible switches (with energy monitoring!) for just $13 each today with promo code 855XJ38T.
You don’t need to sell a kidney to afford noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones; these 4 star-rated Cowin E-7s are just $40 right now, or $30 off with promo code 9H9778YO.
They might not have the brand recognition of Sony or Bose, but these headphones pack in 30 hours of battery life, and yes, active noise cancellation that reviewers say works really well.
You could fill a swimming pool with sub-$20 Bluetooth earbuds, but not many of them boast 8mm drivers, let alone 10 hours of battery life. Even if you already own a pair you like, I recommend getting extra sets of headphones to keep in your gym bag or luggage, for when you inevitably forget your favorites.
There’s a nasty new Wi-Fi exploit out in the wild these days, but you can protect yourself from prying eyes (and get around geo-blocked content too) with a VPN subscription.
Lo and behold, PureVPN is offering some pretty stellar discounts right now when you use promo code Privacy20:
- 24 months for $62.40 ($2.60 per month)
- Six months for $42.96 ($7.16 per month)
- One month for $8.76
PureVPN encrypts and obscures all of your internet traffic from everyone from malicious hackers to your ISP to the government, and includes some cool features like a kill switch to automatically disconnect your Wi-Fi if the VPN stops working, as well as split tunneling, which can route some of your traffic through the VPN, while letting the rest go through your ISP.

Our readers have bought thousands upon thousands of Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid food storage sets over the years, but today’s a great day to upgrade to the Premier version.
Compared to the originals, these feature a stronger plastic base which is better at resisting stains and smells, and lids that snap to the bottom of their containers, so they never get separated. $25 is the best price Amazon’s ever listed on the 28-piece set (which includes 14 containers and 14 lids, not 28 containers), so stock up.
You’ve listed these AmazonBasics Suit Hangers as one of your all-time favorite hangers. They’re lined with velvet to keep slinky shirts from slipping and they’re cheap.
Really cheap today, priced at just $17 for a 50-pack of the white or just $16 for the black, these are the lowest prices we’ve ever seen outside of some short-lived coupons.
I admit, it’s tough to judge a piece of furniture over the internet, but Amazon’s top-selling coffee table looks great to my eyes, and carries a 4.7 star review average. Plus, this being Amazon, it ships for free. That’s pretty compelling for $103 if you aren’t happy with your current coffee table.
The bestselling, top-rated, and audience-favorite robotic vacuum just came out with a new and improved model, and you can suck up yours today for just $200 with code MMSM8QWT, matching a launch deal we saw last week.
It has the features you guys loved about the first model - remote control, a slim body to reach under furniture, and large dust box, but boasts upgraded suction power, so the vacuum will sense when it needs to use a little extra juice to take care of a mess. It also has slightly larger wheels to easier navigate over door jams and higher-pile carpets, plus a larger HEPA-style filter to better trap allergens and pet hair. How convenient!
MYMUG is the latest stop on the road to coffee vessel perfection, and you can save by preordering.
We don’t even touch plastic at this point, our love for double-walled glass is matched only by the glass’ fragility, and many readers have commented in their sensitivity to the metallic taste that... metal can add.
The MYMUG is made in America, available in 4 sizes, microwave and dishwasher safe, safe in general, and insulated. It feels like ceramic, doesn’t impart any flavors, and my favorite feature by far is the base, which allows water to drain during the dishwashing cycle.
We’ve been drinking out of a pair of these mugs for a few weeks, and while we didn’t get to try the lids unfortunately, we’re huge fans of the mugs for everyday use.
You probably own most of the tools included in this Stanley kit, but for $28, there’s something to be said for having them all in a nice, organized case like this. It would also make a great gift for a college student who just moved into their first apartment. Today’s deal is about $10 less than usual, but it’s only available today.
You can extend the life of your favorite seasonal farmer’s market strawberries or about-to-go-bad herbs by repurposing them into their dried forms with a food dehydrator. It can even make jerky!
Using low heat (96 to 160 degrees) to draw out moisture from food, a dehydrator can really save you money by allowing you to DIY your own dried herbs, jerky, mushrooms, fruit rolls, soup mixes, potpourri, and more.
This Nesco dehydrator is a top seller on Amazon and includes a $5 coupon today, so get yourself one before this deal dries up.
Note: The $5 discount won’t show up until checkout.
Typically selling for $14, you can grab yourself a two-pack of Amazon’s best-selling silicone baking mats for $11.
If you haven’t used one before, you should now that nothing will stick to these. They’re made of silicone, flexible, and fit onto standard-sized baking sheets, making clean up a breeze. Plus, since you won’t be baking nonstick spray into your cookie sheets, they’ll look like new for longer.
In addition to being bestsellers, these mats boast a near-perfect 4.7-star rating with almost 2,000 reviews.
IRIS’s pet food containers aren’t exactly exciting, but they work well, seal tight, and keep the ants away. I’ve used the same two IRIS containers for about six years now, and haven’t given them a second thought, which is all you could want from products like this. Choose from four different sizes below for 15% off after you clip the on-page coupon.
OxyLED is best known for its battery-powered light strips, but this discounted kit plugs into an AC outlet and is designed specifically for under-cabinet installation.
The kit comes with three-foot-long LED light bars, plus three connecting cables. You can either plug the bars into each other to create one long light bar, or use the cables to snake around corners and extend your setup. There are two options to make your lights stick: via damage-free magnetic strips (ideal for renters) or with regular screws.
Once it’s all installed, just use the touch-sensitive power button to turn them on and adjust the brightness, and enjoy a well-lit countertop while you prepare dinner.
Update: This deal has been up for a few days, but now you can get it for $129 with promo code THDOCTFY1710.
The Nest Learning Thermostat usually costs $250, or maybe $200 if you find a good sale, but today at Home Depot, you can pick up a refurb of the previous generation model for only $139. The only real difference between this and the current edition is that it has a smaller screen, and it’s not like you’re watching movies on the thing.
LED flashlights are affordable and can be incredibly bright, and a whole bunch of them are on sale right now.
For one day only, you can select from a variety of deals on Streamlight lighting products, including full-sized flashlights (one of which puts out an astounding 1100 lumens), compact lights, and even a keychain area light that you can wear on your person while running at night. Just be sure to take advantage before this deal goes dark. A few lights are below, but head over to Amazon to see the rest.
Barbecue season might be in the rearview mirror, but you can be ready for the spring with this Char-Broil charcoal grill deal. Its 780 square inches of cooking surface can fit a ton of food, and $91 is the best price Amazon’s ever offered, though you’ll have to be a Prime member to get it.
You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could buy this poster for 20% off with code SALEONTOLOGY that you didn’t stop to think if you should.
Hold on to your butts.
Heat up the lowest price we’ve ever seen on this Hamilton Beach toaster oven. It’s not the fanciest thing in the world, and not your favorite Breville, but it would be perfect for smaller kitchens with less counter space. This normally sells for around $45 so, at $36 today, this discount should get your coils heating.
You can warm up next to Amazon’s best-selling space heater for $47, which is its lowest price we’ve seen since last May. It oscillates, has an 8-hour timer, and comes highly-recommended with almost 5,000 reviews and a 4.3-star rating.
I recommend grabbing another one for your over-cooled office building too.
Garment bags are the perfect solution for keeping fancy clothing safe while traveling, but I highly recommend storing those suits and dresses in one of these even in a closet. For $10, you can grab a 3-piece garment bag set, plus a shoe bag, with the code D69VUOF5.
With this set of ten OXO Good Grips Pop Containers, the days of snacks going stale are no more. $80 is, with a few short-lived exceptions, about as cheap as this set ever gets, and it would make a great holiday gift as well. Fill it with anything and store it much easier than that half-open bag of chips you’re using a binder clip to hold closed.
Bodum’s pour-over coffee maker is as beautiful as it is functional, and Amazon’s marked it down to $14 today, the best price they’ve ever listed on the 34 ounce model. Hopefully, you take your coffee makers like you take your coffee: Black. Because that’s the only color on sale today.
Typically selling for $175+, this fire pit features a deep bowl for bigger, but safer fires. Unlike more inexpensive steel fire pits, this one is made of cast iron and built to last. It weighs 60 pounds and will take a couple of extra days to ship, which gives you a little more time to get s’mores ingredients.
Even outside of holiday decorations, these (almost) 20-foot solar-powered strands can add a nice ambiance to your backyard or any event, without needing a power cord. They’re just $8 today with code QQRHRXAU, so start stringing.
Dash cams can really save your butt in the event of an accident, and they can even see ghosts, so for $50, it’s probably worth buying one. This model from Aukey includes a 1080p Sony sensor and 170-degree field of view, two different mounting options, and capacitors that are rated to work in temperatures from -4°F to 149°F.
We’ve posted a lot of deals lately on these coccyx seat cushions, but $14 is one of the best prices we’ve seen to date, and this particular model is one of Amazon’s top sellers. These will improve posture and ease back pain in any chair where you spend a lot of time, from the office to the car to a long flight.
You need dishwasher detergent anyway, so you might as well buy it on sale. While supplies last, Amazon’s offering a $4 coupon on this 78-pack container of Cascade Complete ActionPacs, nearly a 25% savings.

When it comes to finding the right pair of shoes that won’t hurt your feet after an hour but are still pretty okay looking, Rockport should be on your radar. Amazon has four styles (with a couple colors each) on sale right now that, if you’re in need of some new kicks, you should take advantage of. They’re all priced either $55 or $63, but this deals walks off at the end of the day.
The weather is actually nice, and Mountain Hardwear has the apparel and gear for you to enjoy it. Take up to 70% off select styles (Including their über-popular Ghost Whisperer Down) when you use the code MHWNOV70 at checkout. Go climb a mountain or hike a trail. Or just look like you do those things while walking the dog.
It feels a little weird to say this, but Banana Republic has gotten real good lately. They straddle the line of business casual and trendy streetstyle and it’s kind of great. And if you’ve noticed too, it’s the best time to take advantage of it because they’re giving an extra 50% off all sale styles. Maybe it’s time to give BR a little more respect.
Note: Discount shown in cart.
We’re currently putting together a shorts roundup titled, “All Shorts Should Have Built-in Liners”, so that should tell you how we feel about the category. Get yourself a pair starting at $25 with a preorder.
TrueREVO is already a successful manufacturer of athletic apparel, so there’s not much concern when it comes to the Kickstarter factor here. The creatively named “World’s Best Running Shorts-II” are indeed a sequel to a product they’re already selling.
Merino these are not, but for $25 with the well-designed cellphone pocket, they’re in impulse buy range for those that want to try out shorts with liners.
TrueREVO is even rolling out lined pants here, along with tank tops, and variants of the shorts where the liner is removable. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the pants or the Anthra collection, but we found the shorts and tank top to be very comfortable.
Just because you’re dressing up doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun with your socks. For a limited time, choose any of the Barons Sock Club styles on this page, and use promo code BARONS20 at checkout to knock them down to $10. Personally, I’m into the Blue Wave pattern.
If you think you don’t need new socks, you’re probably wrong. Especially with the change of the season and the ability to lose a single sock at any time of the day, this 20% off sale from Backcountry is for you. Grab some pairs from Smartwool (maker of your favorite socks), DarnTough, Icebreaker (both in the top five of your favorite socks), Pendleton, and more.
Thanks to the athleisure wear trend, workout gear doesn’t make you look like an athlete anymore. But this stuff definitely does.
Used by NBA players and olympians, kinesiology tape can provide pain relief to sore muscles and joints, potentially speeding up recovery time. KT Tape’s pre-cut strips are designed to stick longer through sweat and humidity (if that’s too long - read this).
You can get our own for just $7 today after you clip the coupon.
Note: The coupon is only valid for the pink color. Sorry.
Get the waterproof protection you want, with the breathability of a sweatshirt with Under Armour’s Swacket (yes, it’s really called that). Right now, they’re taking 25% off all their styles of swackets (it doesn’t get less awkward to type that) and have the right outerwear for the awkward weather we’re having.
When it comes to having a corner on the market, nothing really compares to Nike. And right now, use the code 20EXTRA and take an extra 20% off their sale styles for both men and women. Everything you could need for a good workout wardrobe is included, from apparel, to sneakers, to gear.
$48 for a year’s-supply of razor blades is a great deal, especially from Dorco. $24 for the same pack (with code KINJA1024) is downright unbelievable.
That price includes a mishmash of products, but basically, it boils down to 28 cartridges, including a mix of three, four, and six-blade models. Obviously, it depends on how often you shave, but for many of you, that should last at least a year. It would probably last me like three.
Levi’s is a classic American denim brand, and they make your favorite pair of men’s jeans (no surprise there). Right now, they’re giving you up to 75% off a ton of styles during their Warehouse Event. Obviously there is tons of denim to choose from, but also tops, outerwear, and more.

The Deluxe edition of next year’s upcoming Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia may be one of the coolest looking books ever made, and Amazon’s already dropped the preorder price from $80 to $72. The best part: You won’t be charged until it ships, and you’ll automatically get the lowest price listed between the time you order it and the time it goes in the mail.
The standard edition is also available for $34 right now, though it’s been as low as $24 recently, so you’ll likely not pay that much by the time it ships.
If you preorder the Taken 3-movie collection for an all-time low $12 now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will scold you.
For better or worse, our lives exist largely in the cloud these days, and that shows no signs of changing. So if you want to understand how it works, and maybe even find gainful employment managing those massive server racks, Humble’s latest book bundle is here to help.
Pay what you want to download DRM-free ebooks that teach you about Azure, AWS, and more. You can get get all 16 titles for as little as $15, or fewer books at two lower price tiers.

Super Mario Odyssey comes out tomorrow (and it’s great!), so here’s a friendly reminder that if you have Amazon Prime, you can preorder it for $12 off (discount shown at checkout).
Don’t have a Switch yet? Amazon just got a new shipment of the Super Mario Odyssey edition. You can also get a standard Switch for $300.
The Nintendo Switch is better with friends, so pick up an extra set of Joy-Con for $69, or about $10 less than usual. Just note that you’ll have to be signed into a Rakuten account (no guest checkout) and use code PRO10 at checkout to get the deal.
Since it has the misfortune of launching alongside of Super Mario Odyssey, it’s worth repeating that Assassin’s Creed Origins comes out tomorrow, meaning today is your last chance to preorder and save 20% with your Prime membership. Just note that you won’t see the discount until checkout.
Update 10/25: Back in stock on Amazon, in addition to Microsoft, GameStop, and Best Buy. Thanks, RSWilson!
I probably wouldn’t expect Nintendo-like supply shortages, but if you want to be absolutely sure to get an Xbox One X at launch, preorders are live now.
PS4 deals are hard to come by, and PS4 Pro deals even rarer still, so if the 4K-capable console has been on your wish list, you can get it bundled with free copies of Destiny 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider courtesy of Newegg’s eBay storefront today.
Humble’s Day of the Devs bundle is back, and you can pay what you want for up to eight PC games, plus a VIP ticket to Day of the Devs in San Francisco, and a $2 Humble wallet credit if you’re a Humble Monthly member. Highlights this time around include Grim Fandango, Abzu, and Day of the Tentacle Remastered, and the top price tier is only $9, so get on this one.
A recent Target ad announced that they’d have SNES Classics available online on November 1, but the catch is that it’s only going to be available for Target REDCard holders.
But really, if you ever shop at Target, you ought to get a REDCard anyway. It comes in both credit and debit card varieties (the latter just draws directly from any bank account), has no annual fee, and gets you 5% off everything Target sells, plus free shipping on all online orders.
I’ll never understand how, in 2017, Microsoft still ships Xbox One controllers without built-in rechargeable batteries, but at least there’s an easy fix. Get two battery packs and a charging cradle for $18 today with promo code 7TZW34B5. You don’t have to use the cradle if you don’t want to; any microUSB cable will do the job.
TwitchCon 2017 kicked off today, and Amazon’s celebrating the best way they know how: With a sale. Save 20% on any of the gaming peripherals you see on this page with promo code TWITCHCON20, including popular gear from Logitech, Razer, Corsair, and more.
When CogniToys asked me to check out their latest educational toy, STEMosaur, I was fearful it would end up in the pile of “nothing special” STEM toys that litter my kids’ room. I was absolutely wrong.
At just $99, an Indiegogo exclusive price for Kinja readers, STEMosaur packs an inordinate amount of education, games, jokes, core coding concepts, and more into his softly textured plastic shell.
My six year old was excited to fit plastic parts, drive screws, and connect ribbon cables to assemble her new toy. After installing the CogniToys app and getting him connected to the internet, STEMosaur’s gruff little voice came to life as he immediately started asking and answering questions. My daughter was soon playing games, learning facts, and laughing through full conversations with him.
In minutes, STEMosaur went from a box of parts, to a toy, to a playmate, to a companion. Your $99 Indiegogo pledge (expected to ship in December) gets you a smart educational toy with near infinite replay value, thanks to a solid out-of-the-box design and regular CogniToys system updates. As an added bonus, he’s cute and falls low on the ever-growing list of STEM toys in my home that may one day become sentient and kill my family.
