Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Hooded Down Jacket
Bought one end of winter last year, used it a little. this will keep you *really* warm. also it’s super highly rated, lots of awards.- Richard A. Abel III
YES the Ghost Whisperer is amazing, it’s like wearing a cloud. But yeah it’s so warm I can hardly ever wear it. - DatnewRaaaandy
Eddie Bauer’s MicroTherm StormDown Hooded Jacket
Puffy without being bulky. This is my go-to winter jacket. Keeps me warm, windproof, water resistant, and I can layer underneath while still being able to move. Throw in the lifetime guarantee that you get from EB and what more do you need? - Matt Ballard
L.L. Bean’s Ultralight 850 Down Jacket
It’s the lightest down jacket I’ve ever owned (over North Face and Mountain Hardware) and comes in a great many colors. It’s warm and very wind proof.- Rob
Not too puffy at all and warm enough to wear most winter days unless its freezing out. LL Bean always solid and I cant recommend their fleece enough either. I buy one every 3 or 4 years if not longer. - peteike
