Wearing rompers and jumpsuits is often a fashion roller coaster. The one-piece outfits can be extremely cute and stylish, but they can also be a pain to put on and take off. Let’s not even get into the whole the bathroom situation.

But these rompers and jumpsuits have it all: They’re cute, comfortable, extremely easy to take on and off—and they all have pockets.

Modcloth Elegant Everywhere Ruffled Jumpsuit, $89

Modcloth’s “Elegant Everywhere” romper is indeed uber versatile as a piece that can go to the office just as easily as it could go out on a date. The stretchy fabric is secured by a simple sash around the waist, and the shoulders easily slide right off so there’s no dread when you have to hit a public restroom. The pockets are big, deep, and secure enough that you can ditch a purse entirely if you’re just carrying keys, your phone, and a wallet. One downside for travel is that the fabric, a polyester and spandex blend, is on the heavier side and retains odors if you wear it on a hot day and get sweaty. But for spring, late summer, and fall, this jumpsuit deserves a spot in your suitcase.

This strapless romper is both the most and least practical on this list. It’s a tiny outfit—these shorts are short, and this is best suited for those with shorter torsos—but it’s also the easiest to put on and take off. There are no buttons, ties, snaps, zippers or sashes to figure out. Even when you have a wallet and keys in the pockets, you can rest assured that the top will stay put. Bonus: The flattering ruffle that skims the chest means you can get away with not wearing a bra.

Talk about easy on/off; a simple snap closure on the chest and elastic waistband make this jumpsuit an absolute dream for travel. The stretchy material hugs your body in all the right ways and is shockingly comfortable. I once wore it on an extremely hectic day of packing, moving, and flying, and was impressed with how quickly I forgot what I was wearing because I was just so comfortable. I almost never use purses and was pleased to find that I could easily carry items like my phone, small notebook, sunglasses, keys, and boarding passes without worrying that they’d fall out. One downside to the clingy fabric, though, is that you’ll definitely see these items bulging.

This ultra-lightweight jumpsuit is soft, cozy, breezy, and effortlessly stylish. You can tie the shoulder ties as loosely or tightly as you’d like for a custom fit that’s easy to take on and off. An elastic waistband gives the look some shape without compromising comfort. I love the deep pockets on this item—there are two on-seam hand pockets and two back pockets—and how lightweight it is, so it can be worn comfortably on even the hottest days. Bonus: It’s made out of hemp, which is more eco-friendly and sustainable than cotton—and yet it’s so soft, you’d never guess it was anything other than cotton if you didn’t know it was hemp.

Jungmaven’s Button Front Jumper requires a bit of breaking in, just like your favorite pair of jeans. But once you’ve managed that, it’ll undoubtedly become one of your most-worn pieces. You can easily wear this piece on its own or over a T-shirt, and the bottoms look great when cuffed. Two large hip pockets will hold your phone, keys and other small items. The button front is a bit more time-consuming to undo than other jumpsuits on this list, but it’s not a dealbreaker and only gets easier as you wear in the fabric, which is an organic cotton and hemp blend.
