I won't bury the lede here: If you own a Mac, you should own a copy of the Alfred Powerpack.

If you haven't used Alfred, it's basically OS X's Spotlight search on steroids. The free version is great, but the Powerpack opens up a a world of possibilities with its workflow feature, and also unlocks a powerful clipboard manager that I use dozens of times per day. Lifehacker's written a lot about Alfed in the past, but here's my personal usage graph for the last month.
