Admittedly, these aren’t the cheapest battery-powered lawn tools we’ve seen, but that’s because they’re from Poulan’s Pro line, which utilizes 40V lithium-ion batteries, rather than the 18V or 20V batteries you see in many other options. The upshot is that they should provide power and runtime that are in line with gas-powered tools, but with all of the weight and maintenance advantages inherent to electric.
