We thought Amazon was just about done with discounts on their own gadgets for the year, but a bunch of new deals launched this morning, some of which are actually better than Black Friday.
Check out all the device discounts here.
Anker has long been our readers’ go-to manufacturer for inexpensive mobile phone accessories, but now they’re stretching their tentacles into higher-end markets, and you can save over $150 on their ambitious portable projector, today only.
Marketed under their Nebula home theater brand, the Mars Portable Cinema is a projector that you can take anywhere. Packing a 19,500mAh battery, the Mars can project a 150" image at 720p for up to three hours away from a power outlet; more than enough for an outdoor movie night, or even a watch party for a big game. Its built-in JBL speakers should also be sufficiently loud and clear, but you can of course plug in any sound system you want with a 3.5mm cable.
The Mars even runs Android (a weird version of it, anyway) with support for a few popular streaming apps. But of course, any streaming stick like the Fire TV Stick can plug right into its HDMI port, and utilize the Mars’ USB port for power. And if you have an iPhone or iPad, you can even skip all of that and stream your content directly to the projector over AirPlay, no Apple TV required.
Today’s deal is $150 less than usual, and the best deal ever. It’s only available today though, and could very well sell out early.
If you’re going to turn outdoor movie nights into a regular occurrence, you’ll also want to invest in a good screen. There are tons of outdoor-friendly options on Amazon, but Camp Chef’s seem to be the most popular.
If you’re still wrestling with a terrible inkjet printer at home, do yourself a solid and pick up the reliable Brother HL-2380DW monochrome laser printer today for just $100 today.
While it doesn’t print in color, it more than makes up for that with the ability to spit out 32 pages per minute, duplex printing, and inexpensive toner cartridges that can last for years without being replaced. We’ve posted a lot of Brother deals in the past, and we’ve heard nothing but good things from readers about them. Plus, this particular model has a sterling 4.3 star review average on Amazon, a built-in scanner, and AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support, so it should serve you well for years.
It’s not often that Amazon features a laptop as one of its deals of the day, let alone a couple different sizes and models, so anyone who uses a desktop at home or work should definitely check out one of these Lenovo Thinkpads for their portable computing needs.
If you like the idea of Philips Hue’s automation features, but don’t particularly care about exotic and colorful lighting concepts, you can pick up the Hue White starter kit for $50 today, about $20 less than usual, and a match for Black Friday. That gets you two soft white bulbs and a Bridge that lets you control them from your phone, or with voice assistants like Siri and Alexa.
The same kit with four bulbs is also available for $70, though it did get as low as $60 over Deals Week.
And if you missed it yesterday, the four-bulb color starter kit is still on sale for $140, or about $60 less than usual.
Update: The 8TB hub is down to $150.
If any of your family members are bad about backing up their files, an external hard drive is one of the best gifts you can give them.
This 8TB Seagate Backup Plus Hub includes a 2-port USB hub right on front, so you can plug in even more storage, or just charge your phone. This feature does inexplicably make the entire drive incompatible with the PS4, however.
Seagate’s 2TB Backup Plus Slim is also a solid deal at $65. Unlike the Backup Plus, this one doesn’t need an extra power cord, so you can take it with you anywhere.
VPNs are in the news a lot lately, and whether you want to hide your tracks, or just watch videos that would otherwise be geoblocked, there are several great deals available out there to get you started.
If you can commit to five years, PureVPN is going to be your best bet at a measly $70, which works out to just $1.17 per month. PureVPN encrypts and obscures all of your internet traffic from everyone from malicious hackers to your ISP to the government, and includes some cool features like a kill switch to automatically disconnect your Wi-Fi if the VPN stops working, as well as split tunneling, which can route some of your traffic through the VPN, while letting the rest go through your ISP as normal.
If you don’t want to commit to the same company for that long, or would just prefer to use a different provider, NordVPN’s holiday offers are still in effect as well:
- 1 Year NordVPN, $48 with code VIP70
- 2 Year Plan, $72 with code 2YSpecial2017
- 3 Year Plan, $99 with code 3ydeal
Lifehacker has recommended Nord in some previous guides, but if you have any firsthand experience with the service, sound off in the comments!
If you’re more of a Google loyalist than an Alexa fan, you can still get the Google Home smart speaker for just $79 or a Google Home Mini for $29 for the holidays.
Anker’s SoundBuds have long been reader favorites, and two different options are on sale right now for the holidays.
For just $18 (with code SUPER236), you can grab the SoundBuds Surge lightweight Bluetooth headphones. With magnetic connectors on the earpieces and a water-resistant coating, these would be a great addition to your gym bag.
And if you missed it earlier this week, Anker’s brand new Zolo Liberty truly wireless headphones are still on sale for $80 when you clip the $20 off coupon, down from $100. These run for 3.5 hours untethered, but the included battery case packs in an extra 24 hours for recharging on the go.

Travelpro makes our readers’ favorite luggage, and you can choose from three discounted pieces or sets from Amazon today, just in time for the holidays.
The most interesting deals are the Amazon-exclusive two-piece sets: Get a 21" and 25" softside spinner set for $120, or go for a 20" and 29" hardside set for $115.
If you’re all set on carry-ons, you can get just a 25" Maxlite 4 spinner for $90 as well. This is the sequel to the reader-favorite Maxlite 3, though it won’t fit in an overhead bin.
You don’t need a yard, or even any gardening skills to grow your own food at home; you just need one of these countertop AeroGardens. These fully-integrated, soil-free indoor gardens can grow herbs, vegetables, and salad greens up to five times faster than regular soil, and other than a very brief $96 deal last week on the red model (and only the red model), $120 is the best price we’ve seen in months.
To start growing you simply pop in the seed pods, pour in some water, occasionally add nutrients, and the machine does the rest. This AeroGarden has accommodations for six plants and includes seed pods to get you started. This Harvest Elite model is one step up from the one we featured on Black Friday, with the difference being this one is made of stainless steel rather than plastic. So start growing your own garden, or gift to an aspiring green thumb.
Although it’s not as good as a price it was during Deal Week, this AmazonBasics executive chair is just $91, a $19 savings from its usual $110.
Guacamole and salsa taste better when served out of a molcajete. Everybody knows this. This 4-cup model looks great, and has never been cheaper.
Anker, producer of a lot of your favorite charging gear, has its own line of flashlights too, and the high-end LC130 is marked down to $40 today with promo code XMASFLA2.
That’s a lot of money to spend on a flashlight, but the LC130 has just about every feature you could possibly want, including IP67 dust and water resistance, 1300 lumens (that’s incredibly bright, for what it’s worth), five lighting modes, and a USB-rechargeable battery that can last up to 6 hours. Even if you don’t need it for yourself, this could make a great holiday gift as well.
Nest threw out all of the old assumptions about home security systems, and built something pretty great with the new Nest Secure, and you can save $100 on the usual price of the starter bundle today on eBay.
$400 gets you the Nest Guard (the big keypad thing that doubles as a motion detector), a couple of Nest Tags that can disarm it instantly, and two Nest Detects which can monitor entire rooms for motion, and also detect when windows or doors open.
Gizmodo’s review has more details about how all of these pieces fit together, and there are more add-ons that you can purchase a la carte to fit your home’s needs.
Made by one of our best-selling brands, these two All-Clad skillets are selling for the lowest price ever today. The 8-inch and 10-inch skillets are nonstick, scratch resistant, and oven safe up to 500 degrees.
This package usually sells for $60, so get them while they’re still sizzling.
If you’ve been eyeing a KitchenAid mixer for a while, and don’t mind getting a refurbished one, then today is your day. You can pick up one from eBay for just $170, that’s $110 less than the new ones are selling for and $40 less than other refurbished models.
So go ahead and get yourself one, the color options might not last long.
Similar to the special Walmart and Best Buy Chase Pay promotions we shared a few weeks ago, you can now get 2,000 Chase points (worth $20 in cash back at a bare minimum) when you spend $20 at eBags and use Chase Pay to check out. Terms and conditions here and here.
At a base level, if you find something for around $20—like this TRTL travel pillow, or these packing cubes—and use this promotion, you’ll almost be getting your purchase for free.
Update: Get FREE ShopRunner shipping for two years through this link.
But if you have either a Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve card, the points you earn from this promotion can be used for travel rather than cash back, meaning they could be worth a lot more than $20. For example the Sapphire Reserve allows you to book travel directly at a rate of 1.5 cents per point, making this promotion worth a minimum of $30 in travel. And if you find a really good partner redemption (like I did for my trip to Hawaii), it could be worth a lot more.
Just be sure to hit the Chase Pay button at checkout, and use either a Chase Freedom, a Freedom Unlimited, or a Sapphire Preferred card to pay. It doesn’t appear that the Sapphire Reserve is eligible, though once you get the points, you can transfer them into your Reserve account for travel redemption purposes.
If you need a little extra help getting your house together for holiday guests, let Amazon pitch in for $30 less today.
For cleaning services, you simply select the size of your home. For handyman services, you estimate how many hours you’ll need them and note whether they’ll be inside or outside. Examples of applicable handyman jobs might be installing a garbage disposal, mounting a TV, or drywall repair. For both services, you’ll see the $30 discount at checkout.
Unfortunately, Amazon isn’t set up with providers everywhere in the country, but if you live in a covered area, this is as great deal.
Just note that you’ll have to complete the checkout process with the local provider by 12/21, and you’ll have to schedule service within 90 days.
No matter how great your kitchen knives are, they all need some tender loving care from time to time. This $7 Lansky BladeMedic includes two v-sharpeners, a fold-out sharpening rod, and a ceramic sharpening edge for serrated knives, all in a handheld package that can fit into any kitchen drawer.
This thing amazingly has a 4.6 star review average from over 3,000 customers, and it’s sold out within a few hours every time we’ve posted it at this price, so I wouldn’t wait.

If you have any football fans on your list (or you want to hop on a bandwagon late in the season), you can pick up a few different styles of gear in this Gold Box. Hoodies, hats, socks, and tees are all marked down for one day only, but as always with Amazon and their inability to keep clothing consistent, teams and sizes vary.
You may have never heard of Lark & Ro, but that’s because it’s one of Amazon’s in-house brands. Right now, they’re marking down all the sleek, simple cashmere that they have to much more giftable prices. Most come in under $100, with the sweet spot being in the $80ish range.
Great news: You can buy hoverboards without burning down your house now, and EPIKGO’s Premiere Series model is on sale for an all-time low $400, today only.
This hoverboard can scoot along at a spritely 10 mph for up to an hour on a charge, and is powerful enough to climb up 18 degree grades. Most importantly though, it utilizes safe LG battery cells that won’t start smoldering under your feet. This model has typically sold for $800, and today’s $400 deal is only available today.
You don’t need a ton of storage space and a roof rack on your car to go kayaking. This Intex one-seater is inflatable, so it can fit in your closet and your trunk, and you can get it for just $50 today in Amazon’s Gold Box, complete with a manual pump. Just don’t forget to bring Advil to take once you’re done paddling.
You probably already got your Bean boots from last year and are ready for whatever 2017 throws at you (weather-wise, at least). But if you need to replace a few things, or get some last minute gifts, L.L.Bean is giving you 25% off any order, plus free shipping, with the code HOLIDAY. Stave off the winter weather in the best way you know how.
Sunglasses may not seem like the best stocking stuffer, but when they’re all at incredibly affordable prices, it makes a lot of sense. Use the code STUFF35 and take 35% off Sunglass Warehouse’s already well-prices shades and maybe pick up some new ones for yourself while you’re at it.
ThinkGeek is helping the nerds in your life get ready for the holidays. Score up to 70% off of a ton of products and apparel during their Black Friday Sale. There are seriously hundreds of items to choose from, which means every corner of geekdom is covered by this sale.
It’s been a long year, and I’d say you’ve earned a foot massage. But if you’re a little weirded out by the thought of a stranger touching your gross feet, a couple of electric massagers from Mynt are cheaper than ever right now.
First up, their basic foot massager includes heat, a removable hood, and two massage nodes for just $55 with promo code MYNT2670 That’s not much money for something that can meaningfully improve your day, every day, forever.
If your feet deserve only the best, their premium model also massages your heel and the top of your foot, and includes a lot more options to customize your experience. It’s more of an investment at $150 (with code MYNT2611), but that’s a $50 discount, and an all-time low.
Philips’ entry-level Sonicare Essence electric toothbrush has long been a reader favorite, and now Amazon’s running the best deal we’ve seen on the sequel, the Essence+.
The big improvement here is the brush head: Rather than the screw-on E-series heads (which have a tendency to collect sludge along the seam), the Essence+ uses standard Sonicare snap-on heads. The upshot is that you get a lot more choices: Philips sells seven different options for different budgets and brushing styles.
For a limited time, Amazon’s taking $10 off the brush’s $35 price tag. We’ve seen this $10 coupon before, but it’s usually subtracting from a $40 starting price. Just note that you won’t see the final price until checkout.
Sephora isn’t known for their discounts and deals like other retailers, but they’re trying something new this year with their Weekly Wow deals. Every Thursday, Sephora will drop a bunch of deals and offers for one week only. This week features:
- Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette
- BECCA Cosmetics Light Chaser Highlighter
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette
- BECCA Cosmetics Liquid Crystal Glow Gloss
- Lancôme Grandiôse Wide-Angle Fan Effect Mascara
- Lancôme Grandiôse Extreme Wide-Angle Extreme Volume Mascara
- Lancôme Grandiôse Waterproof Mascara
“No-iron shirts” have been around for so long that it seems almost ridiculous to buy anything else. Twillory takes that notion one step further by taking that no-iron notion and adding a bespoke feel.
These deals are all $10 more expensive than Black Friday, but with all three deals, you can add a set of Twillory’s unique bottle opening collar stays to your cart to get it for free. These stays sell for $19, and make great gifts, so you’re coming out ahead.
- Two shirts for $99 with code KINJA2
- Four shirts for $179 with code KINJA4
- Five shirts for $209 with code KINJA5
Those codes should work with all the shirts they sell, so mix, match, and get creative (and don’t forget those collar stays). Shane reviewed these shirts over on Gear, so head over there to learn about what makes them so great.
Update: Last day!
Now is the time to get the hell outside, mainly because the weather is mild, but also because our president is hellbent on getting rid of public lands and you may not be able to hike anywhere by next year. So, REI is helping you get outside with an extra 25% off all their sale items, no code needed.
Smartwool easily socked it to the competition when it came to finding out what your favorite everyday socks are, and with good reason: they’re kind of awesome. The downside to their awesomeness is they’re on the pricey side. But right now, use the code SMARTWOOL3 and get 33% off any three pairs of Smartwool socks on Jet.com. Just add your three favorites to the cart, enter the code, and get ready for warm feet.

Kindle Unlimited is basically Netflix for ebooks and audiobooks, and Amazon’s offering a very rare discount on the service today. You’ll save 30% on a years worth of Unlimited, taking the price down to just $84. If you love to read, this should pay for itself, and it would also make a great holiday gift for the bookworm in your life.
You can fill your Kindle with a ton of new material, from biographies, to sci-fi, to literature. Everything in this Kindle Gold Box is under $5, with most coming in under $2. You’ll want to pick up more than one.
Set a course for Amazon and prepare your warp drives, because a couple of Star Trek complete DVD box sets are on sale for all-time low prices. Take your pick of Voyager or Deep Space Nine for $57 each, while they last.
Or if you need a gag gift for someone that you don’t really like, Star Trek: Enterprise is available on Blu-ray for $46 as well.
Calenders are really underrated holiday gifts. ThinkGeek is taking up to 33% off (yeah, idk) a ton of great ones, like Super Mario Bros., Bob Ross, Star Trek, and more. Most of them come in at the $10 mark, which makes them ideal for stocking stuffers or Secret Santa gifts.
If you’re looking to give the gift of iTunes credit this year, or just need to refill your own account, Amazon’s taking $7.50 off when you spend $50 or more on digital iTunes cards with code ITUNES for the holidays.
Most iTunes gift card deals offer a single card in a single denomination, but this one lets you combine multiple smaller cards that you could give away as gifts. As long as you’re spending at least $50 and use the promo code, any combination should work.
The count down has begun. If you plan on sending out holiday cards, you have less than three weeks left before Christmas. Amazon is helping you out by offering 60% off cards with code SEASONSGREETINGS60.
Although this deal is set up to benefit holiday-card senders, anyone who plans ahead can take advantage since their entire selection (not just holiday cards) are eligible for the discount. So if you know of any event in the future that you might to need order cards for like, baby shower invites, thanks you cards, or save the dates, stock up now. They have pre-made templates to select from or you can upload your own design. This deal lasts through December 10th.

Become one with the Force or take down the Rebels with this Star Wars Gold Box. For one day only, Amazon is taking a lightsaber to the prices of over 30 different games and toys from all your favorite Star Wars movies. It’s pretty much the perfect solution for gift ideas for any fan.
We thought the days of $40 PlayStation Plus sales were behind us, but lo, here it is once again. If your membership is due to expire soon, or hell, even if it isn’t, you’ll want to take advantage of this.
If you own more than one set of Joy-Con for your Nintendo Switch (and Mario Kart exists, so why wouldn’t you?), it can be a pain to keep the spares charged up. But this $20 stand from Hori can juice up two pairs at once while you play a game with the far superior Pro Controller.
Cuphead is simultaneously one of the best looking and most brutally challenging games of 2017, and you can pick up an Xbox One/Windows 10 digital code from Amazon right now for $17, or $3 off.
If you’re into racing games, this Humble Bundle’s for you. Pay what you want today for titles from the F1, Grid, and DiRT series, plus more games. As always, you can choose your own price, but some titles are locked behind paywalls, the most expensive of which is $15 this time around.
