Ultralight, breathable, water repellent, anti-microbial, and flexible, the summer line sheds the bulk without giving up the support. They’re noticeably less cushy than their year-round counterparts, so while they still feel great, you’d do well to pair them with an ankle sock and/or a merino or cork insole. I especially like the gray sole on the black and olive colorways.
I thought I was the only one wearing boots all summer, so I welcome any shoe that’s going to further facilitate that. On the flip side, these are a pricey, albeit super high quality summer shoe.
