Fresh off her win at the French Open, Serena Williams isn’t one to let the limelight linger on any one thing she does for too long. Today marks the debut of her new fashion line, aptly named Serena.
Launching with a 12-piece capsule collection, every piece from the brand is accessible and dynamic. Serena lends itself to comfort and trendiness, with a mix of tailored styles like slip dresses, plus a healthy dose of joggers and sweats. It’s basically an entire wardrobe in one debut collection.
Current prices range from $40 crop tops up to $215 for the show-stopping, I-need-this-in-my-closet-ASAP metallic anorak, but the mogul promises new releases throughout the summer and fall seasons with over 75 to choose from.
As of now, the collection speaks true to Serena and her mission to empower women from inside and out. The lettering of the bralettes and dresses lean towards bold and bright. This collection doesn’t try and hide itself behind the name of its creator, even if it’s named after her. Serena built her empire and continues to master it with the launch of this line.
