Amazon’s Fire TV Stick got a nice discount over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but the 4K/HDR/Dolby Atmos-packing Fire TV was notably absent from the party. Turns out, it was just fashionably late.
Today only, Amazon’s marking the streaming box stick dongle down to $50 for the first time, a $20 discount. This is one of the best streaming devices you can buy at any price, so if it’s been on your wish list, don’t miss this deal.
Update: Back in stock, and the $5 smart plug is now available with a whole host of Alexa devices. The Dot is the only one currently discounted though.
In addition to this week’s smart lighting bundles, Amazon is currently throwing in a TP-Link Smart Plug for $5 when you purchase an already-discounted Echo Dot for $30.
These switches effectively add smartphone and voice control to anything with an on/off switch, including, it must be said, Christmas string lights. I can turn my own tree on just by stating “Alexa, turn on Christmas tree” into the void.

You know what’s better than taking a selfie? Taking a self portrait with a real damn camera, or at least the good rear-facing camera on your phone. This super-cheap tripods let you use just that, and it’ll work with your phone, your GoPro, or even your DSLR.
Plus, pick up a pair of extra adapters, just incase you lose the one it comes with.
Anker makes some of our readers’ favorite Bluetooth speakers and headphones, and one of each are on sale in today’s Amazon Gold Box.
First up, the fitness-friendly SoundBuds Curve are designed with active users in mind. Their ear wings ensure they stay put while you exercise, and an internal hydrophobic coating means your sweat won’t fry them. Their best spec though? 12.5 hours of battery life, which is fantastic for Bluetooth earbuds. They normally sell for around $30, but today’s $19 deal brings them into stocking stuffer territory.
Meanwhile, you can also get the new SoundCore Boost for an all-time low $55 as part of the same deal. The Boost upgrades the original reader-favorite SoundCore’s dual 6W drivers to 10W, so it should be loud enough to fill a large room, even during a party. The biggest difference though will be on the low end, thanks to dual subwoofers and a “Boost” button that instantly boosts your bass. A speaker this small probably isn’t going to rattle your floor, but the sound will be a lot fuller than you’d expect from a portable speaker.
Unfortunately, this does come at the expense of battery life; the Boost gets 12 hours on a charge compared to the SoundCore’s 24. That’s still pretty impressive though, especially since it’s barely any larger than the original. It’s also IPX5 water resistant, so it can take a splash.
It might seem crazy to you or me, but a lot of people charge their gadgets exclusively with the chargers that they came with. If they need to bring a phone, a tablet, and a Kindle on vacation, they’ll pack three separate USB wall chargers to power them.
If you know anyone like this, do them a favor this holiday season and buy them a travel-friendly four-port charger for just $15. It’ll probably be the most useful gift they receive this year.
HDTV bias lights are nothing new to our readers, but Luminoodle’s are some of the most highly-rated out there, and you can save 30% on the white models today on Amazon.
For a limited time, you can choose from all three lengths (there’s a guide to help you pick on the product page, but you can trim them every two inches to get the right fit) for 30% off with promo code NZ6Y8AN2. If you aren’t familiar, these ease eyestrain when watching TV at night, improve your TV’s perceived contrast, and just look really cool. Needless to say, this would make for a creative holiday gift as well.
You don’t need to sell a kidney to afford noise-canceling Bluetooth headphones; these top-selling Cowin E-7s are just $39 right now, or $31 off with promo code CBdeal11. Are they as good as Sony’s noise-canceling headphones? No, of course not, but they boast 30 hours of battery, and offer solid value for anyone on a budget.
If you bought yourself a nice new computer monitor on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, this full-motion arm from Fleximounts will let you position it every which way you could want. Just be sure to use code NYNAJMPA at checkout to save $6.
Aukey’s tiny USB car charger is a reader favorite, but this RAVPower model is the same size and puts out the same 4.8A of power over two ports, and it’s only $5 today with code OKAYP031. Even if you have a perfectly good car charger already, it might be worth adding this one to your luggage for rental cars.
If you missed out on Sonos’ Black Friday discounts, their $50 discounts on the PLAY:1 and PLAY:3 speakers are still available. Sonos speakers hardly ever go on sale, so if you’ve been wanting one for yourself, or plan to give one as a gift, I wouldn’t recommend waiting.
Anker’s SoundBuds are our readers’ favorite affordable Bluetooth headphones, and the newest version just dropped to an all-time low $18.
The SoundBuds Slim are, as you might have gleaned from the name, far smaller than the originals. Heck, they look like a small set of wired earbuds; you might never guess there were batteries and Bluetooth radios in there. Despite the size, these buds are still rated for seven hours of battery life, and recharge fully in just 90 minutes.
These days, you probably charge as many things over USB as you do over standard AC outlets, so it only makes sense to add some semi-permanent USB ports to your home.
We’ve seen USB outlet receptacles for slightly less in the past, but this model boasts 4.8A of power shared between the two USB ports, compared to 4A on most alternatives. That means your high-draw devices like tablets will charge up faster as you use them. Just be sure to use promo code TGUKINJA at checkout to save about $7.
VPNs are in the news these days, and with good reason. So if you’re curious to sign up and start protecting your browsing history and personal data (or, you know, getting around websites’ geoblocks), NordVPN charges less per month than a typical trip to Starbucks.
ordVPN has long been one of the most popular and reliable VPN providers out there, and if you sign up for a one-year membership, promo code VIP70 will drop your annual price from $69 to $48. If you’re sure you want to commit, use this link to get a special two year plan for $79 with code 2YSpecial2017, or this link to get three years for $99 with code 3ydeal. Lifehacker has recommended Nord in some previous guides, but if you have any firsthand experience with the service, sound off in the comments!

If you like having green things in your home, but struggle to keep them alive, succulents are made just for you.
For the first time in my memory, Amazon’s running a one-day Gold Box deal on a collection of 20 succulent plants shipped right to your door. Each plant is unique and comes in a 2" pot, but many of them will be ready to transfer to a larger arrangement. Just remember, the green ones do well indoors, while purple and orange plants will be happier on your patio.
Or, if you need less than 20 but still want the variety, there’s a pack of 12 and a pack of 4.
If you need to stock up on home appliances for less, this Etekcity and Cosori Gold Box is for you. Pick up a pressure cooker, a blender, a kitchen scale, or an infrared thermometer, while they’re discounted today only.
Everyone likes holiday candies, regardless of what holiday it is. Amazon is marking down a bunch of chocolate and holiday-themed goods, like Pellegrino, Nestle hot chocolate, a giant Snickers bar, and more.
If you scrolled through the Holiday Candy Gold Box and didn’t see anything you were interested in, look again. Amazon took on Nutella and created something even more interested with their Wickedly Prime Cocoa Truffle Spread.
Don’t be that guy that doesn’t clean up after his dog. When you can get 240 poop bags and two dispensers for $8, there’s no excuse.
Traveling for the holidays with your pet? This pair of deals will help keep your backseat fur-free for when you’re without them. Clip the 15% off coupon and save extra.
Between shedding fur on your seats and a seemingly physiological need to jump into the front seat while you’re passing an 18-wheeler on the freeway, it’s no secret that a lot of dogs don’t do particularly well in the car. So, if you’re planning on taking your dog to the beach for the summer, this hammock seat cover from AmazonBasics can help keep your backseat fur and slobber-free.
Or, opt for just the seat cover and keep your seats from being covered in hear.
No matter how great your kitchen knives are, they all need some tender loving care from time to time. This $7 Lansky BladeMedic includes two v-sharpeners, a fold-out sharpening rod, and a ceramic sharpening edge for serrated knives, all in a handheld package that can fit into any kitchen drawer.
This thing amazingly has a 4.6 star review average from over 3,000 customers, and it’s sold out within a few hours every time we’ve posted it at this price, so I wouldn’t wait.
Even (or perhaps, especially) in the age of laptops and tablets, many people prefer the tactile experience of jotting down notes with an actual pen and paper, and the most tactile experience of all comes from the Ghost Paper Notebook.
Rather than simply printing lines on the sheet to keep your letters straight, Ghost Paper’s lines are very slightly embossed, giving your pen an actual base from which to start each character. Shane tried one of these out earlier this year and loved it, and you can get your own notebook for $5 off today with promo code 121KINJA.
Bodum’s pour-over coffee maker is as beautiful as it is functional, and Amazon’s marked down the cork version to $17 today, the best price ever. We’ve seen better deals on the model with the black sleeve, but you have to admit the cork one looks really cool. I expect to see all of you posting Sunday morning Instagrams with this thing.
This seemingly-simple keychain add-on includes a laundry list of useful tools including, small and medium flat screwdrivers, a Phillips head screwdriver, a wire stripper, a pry bar, and a bottle opener. Plus, TSA won’t confiscate it when you travel. These have never been cheaper and they make awesome stocking stuffers.
Amazon’s newest sample box is packed with single serve tea and coffee drinks - at least six of them, for $10. That might not sound like a tremendous deal on its face, but it also comes with a $10 Amazon credit to spend on full-sized orders of select beverages (see them all here), so assuming you spend that, it’s like getting the samples for free.
If your wiper blades have seen better days, Amazon will sell you Michelin Stealth replacements today for 15% off today. The catch is that you can only use the coupon on one blade per order, though I personally was able to use it twice on the same account with the following process.
- Complete your order as usual for one blade with the 15% coupon.
- Add the second blade to your now-empty cart - the coupon did not appear for me this time.
- Delete the second blade from your cart and return to the coupon page.
- Go to the second blade’s product page again, click the “Clip Coupon” button, and add it to your cart.
- Check out a second time for 15% off.
Anker’s home goods brand, Eufy, is blowing out 33' strands of copper string lights for just $8 each for the holidays, so go make Pinterest proud.

Klymit makes so really, really great inflatable camping gear, and you can pick up your own during this one-day Amazon sale. I highly recommend picking up the Static V2 Sleeping Pad (I have one and love it), and their new sleeping pad sheets look like an added luxury worth the price.
Cozy up with this discount. Under Armour is taking up to 30% off select fleece items, including sweatshirts, pants, sweaters, 1/4 zips, and more. It’s basically a furry convention. Wait, that’s not what I mean.
Uniqlo HEATTECH is something we all know and love once the weather dips below like, 30 degrees. But the retailer created two more levels of warm, with Extra Warm and Ultra Warm, and the latter is getting its first discount. Pick up a pair of leggings or a long-sleeve Ultra Warm HEATTECH, for both men and women, for just $20 each. Seeing as it’s 2x as warm as normal HEATTECH, maybe you’ll want to get two.
The perfect sale for the Star Wars fan on your list has arrived from a galaxy far, far away.. ThinkGeek is taking up to 70% off over 120 items, including that Sphero BB-8 that everyone knows and loves (and the R2-D2 counterpart). Apparel, home goods (like tiki cups or a french press), toys, and so much more are on sale, so change your plans of going to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters and get to spending your portions dollars.
ThinkGeek may be known for desk toys and geeky apparel, but their luggage and bags are pretty snazzy as well. Right now, all three styles of the Bag of Holding, messenger, rolltop backpack, and convertible travel bag, are all on sale for just $30. Use the code KINJAFREE at checkout, and you’ll grab free shipping on any (or all) of them.
If you don’t know about Dallas-based Breda, you need to. The watch brand creates minimalist, easy-to-wear styles of watches that aren’t overworked or over priced. And we’ve got an exclusive discount in time for the holidays. Use the code KINJA50 and grab any colorway of their sleek Zabf style watch for just $50.
Perry Ellis is sailing into the colder weather by giving you an extra 60% off their entire sale section, use the code EXTRA60. If you need a new blazer, or some slacks, or even a nice button down or flannel, this is the sale you’re not gonna want to miss out on.
The Philips OneBlade is the electric shaver of choice for pretty much every man on our staff (and tens of thousands of our readers as well), and both the original and the upgraded Pro model are on sale right now for their best price ever.
The OneBlades are notable for their simplicity, versatility, and performance. They work as razors or beard trimmers, you can use them with or without shaving cream, they’re waterproof enough to go into the shower, and they cut through stubble like a hot knife through butter.
The original model is great, and its current $17 deal made it our most popular product of Black Friday, but the $59 Pro has more stubble length settings (14 options in a single adjustable comb, rather than three fixed combs), and a battery that lasts longer and charges faster.
We’ve seen several deals on these electric shoulder massagers, but this one is somewhat unique in that it’s battery powered, so you can use it outdoors, on a plane, or anywhere around your house where there isn’t a convenient power outlet nearby.
We’ve posted a similar product from Naipo a few times before, but this one has twice as many shiatsu nodes (eight vs. four), so it’ll feel like you have a small army of masseuses tending to your knots. Even if it’s not for you, this would make a great gift for an overly-stressed friend or family member.
The weather is actually pretty nice right now, and Mountain Hardwear has the apparel and gear for you to enjoy it. Take up to 60% off a bunch of jackets (and one backpack) from their Web Specials section. Use the code MHWDEC60 and checkout to get the discount. Go climb a mountain or hike a trail. Or just look like you do those things while walking the dog.
Update: This sale has been extended!
Zappos is basically a one-stop shoe destination already, but right now, they’re having an actual sale, something they haven’t done in years. It’s only going on through Monday, so you’d better hurry and grab discounted shoes and apparel from Columbia, Sam Edelman, Frye, SOREL, Asics, Nike, The North Face, Hunter and more for men and women. And, if you’re part of their rewards program, get free expedited shipping on the over 70,000 items on sale.

Movie theater gift cards make great holiday gifts, and there are two that you can buy today that come with an extra little gift for yourself.
First up, this $50 AMC gift card comes with a free popcorn voucher. Considering that movie theater popcorn pricing seems to be pegged to Bitcoin, that’s a great bonus.
You can also spend $75 on a Fandango gift card, which can be used for most theaters, and get a free movie ticket with promo code HOLIDAY4U. The free ticket comes in the form of a single-use $15 Fandango voucher, so that should cover a ticket in just about any city in the country, or even a 3D or IMAX ticket in some circumstances.
If you just bought (or are about to buy) a new 4K TV and want to watch something that shows off that ultra HD or superior display, look no further. This Planet Earth II 4K Blu-ray is down to its lowest price ever of $28. Just be sure you have a 4K Blu-ray player, or, you know, and Xbox One S.
The 20th anniversary edition of The Nightmare Before Christmas is remastered in HD and 7.1 surround sound, comes with a bunch of bonus features, and is just $9 today on Amazon.

Dying Light is indisputably the best parkour zombie drop-kicking simulator out there, and Chrono.gg will sell you Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition today for $22, or $38 less than Steam. That gets you the base game, the season pass, The Following expansion, and some extra skins. Just note that like all Chrono.gg deals, this price is only available until noon tomorrow.
Update: Sold out. But it’s in-stock on Amazon, albeit at full price.
Woot! has the Nintendo Switch in stock and it’s on sale, for basically one of the first times ever. At $280 (plus $5 shipping) it’s a really great holiday gift for someone on your list that’s been eyeing it, or if you’ve somehow been holding out.
If you own a decent PC, but don’t have a copy of Rocket League, it’s down to just $10 today on Amazon, the best price they’ve ever offered. Just be prepared to lose your job and forsake all of your most important relationships.
