If you’re lucky enough to own an SNES Classic, you know that it’s perfect save for two things: The lack of additional Donkey Kong Country games, and the short controller cables. There’s an easy way to fix the former, and now, a great way to fix the latter as well.
Next week, 8Bitdo will release a $13 receiver that plugs into the controller port on the SNES (or NES) Classic, and allows you to use basically any Bluetooth-enabled gamepad to control it. That includes 8Bitdo’s own controllers, of course, but also PS4 game pads, the Wii U controller, and more. This price isn’t a deal per se, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it sells out.
