The worst thing you can do for your skin is not take care of it at night. Whether that’s forgetting to remove your makeup or ignoring your routine, it’ll bite you in the ass pretty quickly.

But, if you can’t be bothered to do a full, multi-step routine, the one thing you should do is pick up an overnight mask. Most overnight masks are packed with ingredients that hydrate, brighten, and firm skin in one step. You don’t even need to wash it off of your face in the morning (though I would recommend doing that anyway).

Sephora Sleeping Mask

This was the first overnight mask I had ever used and I constantly go back for it whenever I’m in a Sephora. It’s affordable and all of the ones I’ve tried have felt great the next day.

Kiehl’s Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Overnight Mask

The constancy of this mask scared me a bit when I first used it (it feels almost like Play-Doh at first). It’s heavier than the other ones I’ve tried, but damn does it work like a dream.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

This is probably the most recommended sleeping mask around (just ask our beauty Slack room) and for many good reasons. It’s priced well and works at keeping your winter skin hydrated and dewy.

Origins Drink Up Intensive

Origins’ Drink Up line is full of power-packed hydrators and the Intensive overnight mask is no different. With avocado and Japanese seaweed, this is one of those masks that you forget you’re wearing and wake up looking fresh.

Patchology Restoring Night CloudMasque Sleeping Mask

While Patchology is well-known for their Instagram-famous eye gels, the CloudMasque is a whipped, lightweight overnight mask that is filled with hyaluronic acid, anti-aging retinol and peptides. And it feels like nothing when you wear it.

Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial

I love Korres’ Wild Rose + Vitamin C oil, so the best thing they could do is pack those ingredients into a one-step facial in the form of this overnight mask. Brighten, hydrate, and improve your skin’s texture while you sleep.

Algenist SPLASH Absolute Hydration Replenishing Sleeping Pack

When I splurged on this Algenist mask, I was very nervous it wouldn’t be worth it. Those worries were thankfully extinguished after just a week of adding it to my nighttime routine.

Mamonde Calming Hydro Sleeping Mask

If there’s one thing that K-Beauty does right, it’s hydration and soothing. Mamonde took the calming nature of Calendula and packed it into an overnight mask full of floral and herb extracts.
