Saxx came from... behind to win your votes in our best premium men’s underwear poll. Now key players from the Saxx team have launched Nth Degree, a new men’s underwear brand with a simplified offering, including boxer shorts that don’t suck.
While one of our favorite things about Saxx has always been the breadth of their undergarment offerings, there’s also something to be said for approachability. Nth Degree has boxer briefs or boxer shorts in modal or cotton, and that’s pretty much it.
Nth inherits and evolves the “pouch” from Saxx, which in their words to me at a recent Capsule show is, “... less like a divider and more like a pouch.” I agree. What actually differentiates Nth however are their Relaxed Fit Boxers.
The rise of “slim fit” and “taper” in men’s clothing has been iced water in hell for everyone with eyes. Whether you’re putting on swim-ready shorts from Myles, everyday shorts from Parker Dusseau, or athletic shorts from Olivers, it’s finally possible to look presentable in something that isn’t pants.
Nth rides this trend to a pair of boxers that actually fits under slim jeans, flatters a leg, and remains comfortable throughout the day. They’re also super soft. If you never got... behind the boxer briefs/trunks trend, these are for you.
Nth also makes a pair of thick cotton lounge pants and a lounge tee. They’re very soft and very comfortable, but we’d still put our money toward more premium fabrics.
