You know Logitech gives a damn right from the first slide, because Spotlight charges over USB-C. Spotlight’s Bluetooth dongle stores inside the remote and has a range of 100 feet, and you will indeed need to be running some lightweight software to take full advantage.
Spotlight supports all the expected functions, but it really helps your presentation come alive with the highlight and magnify features, along with extra tricks like gesture volume control. You can also set up a timer that vibrates the remote, letting you know you only have five minutes left to not blow it.
You probably don’t need to spend $130 on a presentation remote, but if you spend a lot of time standing in front of a conference table talking about the numbers, Spotlight has no competition.
