Koogeek’s smart thermometer can measure your temperature via forehead or ear, is bluetooth, and keeps track of your readings over time. That data rolls up to the same app that their scale, blood pressure monitor, and ab trainer connect to, and also plays nice with Apple’s Health app. I’m not sure what to make of it, but their app is exactly the same as the Withings app. It’s fine.
The thermometer itself is significantly larger than a standard under-tongue model, and the green accent color will definitely keep it relegated to the inside of the medicine cabinet. The fact that it stands vertically when the cover is on is a nice touch.
Readings are extremely fast, and didn’t deviate to any significant degree (ha!) from the thermometer I had on hand to test it against. This thing should really have been micro-USB rechargeable, but here are some 2032 batteries (ugh) that are Subscribe and Save eligible.
Koogeek’s thermometer does what it sets out to do efficiently and without issue, and having used it, I’d never buy a slow under-tongue option again.
