If you have ever watched a beauty tutorial on YouTube, there’s about a 75% chance that before the person applies anything to their eyes, they use Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. It’s one of those things that consistently shows up in beauty bloggers’ bags and it’s on sale at Sephora for only $10 (which is half of its normal price tag).
You may wonder why you need an eyeshadow primer, and for good reason. While eyeshadows are made to hold pigment, a primer will not only boost the saturation of the color, but it’ll make the shadow last longer (hence why so many make up artists swear by it) and prevent creasing.
The version on sale is the old applicator (the squeeze tube rather than the wand) but it’s still the same 24-hour, nude eyeshadow primer formula that you all know and love.
Edit note: Upon further inspection, the old applicator/packaging actually gives you 0.04oz more of product (O.37oz vs. 0.33oz). And it seems to be the consensus that the new wand applicator is not so great.
