It’s Pride Month, and that means celebrating love in all its various forms. Aesop is celebrating Pride 2024 by bringing back its popular Queer Library. This year, the main physical Queer Library can be found in the Aesop Gansevoort store in New York City. Additional Aesop stores in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto will also be participating, with the 2024 theme of “Support Your Local Library.” This celebration is all about raising awareness about the importance of libraries when it comes to being inclusive, safe spaces that help promote queer spaces and stories. Now, just like most recent years at the Aesop Queer Library, visitors can choose one book when visiting and take it home for free. One book, per person, while supplies last.

One Complimentary Book Per Person | Aesop Queer Library

The Queer Library is about using literature to uplift and shine a light on queer experiences. It’s a good way to go and learn more about queer spaces and Pride Month in general. If you need something to do to celebrate the month this June, head over to the Aesop Queer Library and find the book that speaks to you. Do it with your partner or your found family, or your favorite person. You’ll find plenty to do and appreciate on your visit.
