Buy CommitteeLet us know what products you keep putting in your cart, only to "Save For Later." We'll offer our take, and ask readers who own the product to weigh in.

For the perfect cup of coffee, you primarily need two things: great beans and the right amount of water at the perfect temperature. The latter can be easily achieved with an electric kettle.

And OneSweetShannon needs your help to decide which she should buy.

I have at least 6 electric kettles in my lists, and frequently search and contemplate them all again and again. I can’t commit to any, because the one I’d want the most, a Kitchenaid in pistachio to match my mixer, doesn’t have temp control.

So, Buy Committee (that’s you), scroll down to the comments to share your experiences with your electric kettles. Help OneSweetShannon decide whether she should choose the one which matches her mixer or one that’s a bit more functional.

I, for one, firmly believe that form should follow function. While this KitchenAid Electric Kettle isn’t as attractive as the adorable pistachio model she has her eyes on, it does have temperature control. And at the end of the day, kettles are tools not Instagram accessories. (Or pick up a neutral color, like white. While they may not match, at least they’ll be complementary.)

Of course, we’re looking to help you decide on more purchases. So, if you’re still agonizing over something, email with the subject line “Buy Committee” or tweet us at @ItsTheInventory.
