Head to the “Benefits” tab on your Amex account page, and then click on “Offers”. Here you’ll find a bunch of frequently great, ridiculously easy to completely miss coupons, discounts, credits, and more.
One of these offers is currently an $80 credit when you spend $500 or more through American Express’ travel portal. If you’re planning a trip and don’t expect to be able to find a great deal on it, this is certainly a great option.
(Amex Offers are targeted, so you may get unlucky and not have this one, and of course there are lots of terms, so read carefully.)
American Express is also offering a $50 hotel credit for travel booked through their portal before August 31st. This offer appears to be available to everyone.
Based on the nature of these promotions, one being an offer tied to your Amex and one being a global promotion through their travel portal, they should stack.
