Three months of almost daily use
Difficult to charge, difficult to pair HORRID, TERRIBLE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Although the sound is outstanding (good quality for the money) the buds are unreliable. They are fussy about placement in the case. When I first got them I noticed that unless I placed them just so in the case they didn't charge. A real disappointment when you want to go for a workout but the earbuds are dead. I got used to squiggling them around a little to ensure their placement. Now even that doesn't work; most of the time after an overnight 'charge' they're still un-charged in the morning. Their troubleshooting tips are useless and annoying in their uselessness.
Pairing is a PAIN. It was relatively easy at first, but later, with daily use, became a real PITA; here's my experience.
Because they only pair with ONE device at a time, and because they automatically pair with the last device, get used to seeing "Couldn't Connect" error messages. Mine are paired with 4 different devices, so pairing them can be a seek and find exercise; "are they paired to my tablet? No. Are they paired with my laptop. No. Obviously they're not paired with my mobile. So they're paired with my smartwatch. Bingo!"
This is a hunt you must do EVERYTIME you use them if they're paired with more than one device. BUT even after disabling the pair on the other device, the earbuds MAY OR MAY NOT pair with your desired device. In that case you'll have to press and hold the power button on the earbud. Then they'll pair
Now, if that's not bad enough, their customer service is GOD AWFUL BAD AND HOSTILE.
I contacted them for a warranty REFUND because I was having increasing problems with them, especially because I couldn't get them to charge. Here's their reply;
"Thank you for contacting Customer Service for Anker and Soundcore. Please reply to this email with the requested information for us to process a warranty claim for you.
Just 2 steps are needed for us to help you out. Thanks in advance for walking through this with us.
1. Let us know if the following troubleshooting is helpful or not:
Make sure the charging case has enough power. Note: after the earbuds are fully charged, the steady white light on the earbuds will shut off.
Take the earbuds out of the case and see if a flashing white light comes on. If it doesn't, try manually pressing the button or touchpad of the earbuds to power them on.
Try to use a terry cloth/cotton swab with a bit of alcohol to clean the contact pins both in the charging case and on earbuds to ensure a better connection.
Try using another charging cable to power the charging case.
2. If we confirm the earbuds are defective, we can move into the warranty process for a replacement. For that, please provide the following information by replying to this email:
A screenshot or pdf of the invoice confirming the order number from the item's purchase (or a picture of the receipt if it was bought from the store)
The SN# (Serial Number) of the device. You can find it on the charging cable, or inside the charging case lid/hinge or the charging port cover (e.g. "SN: ABC123XXX"). If you can't find the SN, a photo of the product with the Soundcore logo showing will suffice instead.
Your current shipping address.
A short video to show the charging problem.
If the troubleshooting does not work and you already provided all the needed information in your first correspondence with us, please simply reply with a brief description of the issue after troubleshooting for a member of our team to finish processing the warranty claim for you. Thank you!"

LOVED THEM for the 3 days I had them
The sound quality was outstanding. It's response to sound was amazing. These are very well worth the price. Hell-of-a-deal
The packaging is really good; great attention to detail. The charging case is easy to use.
The pairing process is a little tricky at first, but works. They paired w/ my mobile and tablet. It was effortless. The whole process is intuitive.
The box contains a wide selection of ear tips in case the default tips don't work for you.
I loved them. A lot. So did my little dog who jumped up on the coffee table and got one of them which she chewed on like gum.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2021Color: BlackVerified PurchasePersonally I liked this product, even though I didn't keep them (fit issue). These have amazing audio quality! The bass was exceptionally strong and the treble was very crisp. The mids were pleasant, giving voices a natural sound. The optional Soundcore app has a plethora of EQ settings, including the ability to save custom EQ settings. They also have a feature called HearID. It's a feature that helps dial in frequencies, and creates a more personal equalizer. (I recommend doing it a couple of times to make sure it's done properly). I don't know how effective the HearingID feature is since my test created an unadjusted EQ. The first time I did the test it was adjusted but I then realized I was not tapping and holding when prompted so I retook the test.
Unfortunately, there is one drawback to the earbuds and it relates to the slightly noticeable hissing sound when not playing any music/videos. I personally only heard it when my media was stopped/paused; never while listening to my media of choice. I even played my media at very low volumes (about 20-30%) and didn't hear any hissing sound.
The earbuds have great battery life. I would use them at low volume (for background music) at work and they would last the entire 10 hour shift. At higher volumes (about 60-70%) I was still getting about 8 hours of play time. I have not tested these with calls. These also have quick charging. A 5 minute charge will give you 2 hour playback (on the Pro model 10 minute charge gives 2 hour playback).
These have very good passive noise canceling properties but since they aren't meant to be placed deeply into the ear canals, some noise will come through, albeit muffled. I would still have to take them out of my ears if someone was talking to me from a distance of around 6 feet or if they were talking softly. I believe these do have active noise cancelation properties but only during calls and I didn't test that feature. Also, on a side note, these probably have some noise bleed at high volumes (this might be a combination of the design and because buds are capable of being very loud).
These earbuds felt locked in-place and never felt like they were going to come out. While I didn't go to the gym with them, I feel like they could handle a sweaty workout. Unfortunately for me, despite all the ear tips and EaraWings they provided, the buds hurt my ears after prolonged usage (after about 2-3hours). I thought maybe if I just kept wearing them, my ears would get used to them but they never did. The problem for me was the wings. The large ones were too big and caused discomfort but the medium ones were too small and didn't create a secure fit. I tried wearing them without the wings but they felt loose (I even tried it with different ear tips, including from my personal stash, to no avail). I think if the wings had a curved design like the Bose or Jaybird earbuds, they would have fit my ear just fine; I seem to have better luck with that design.
I mostly use earbuds to listen to music and to watch videos. The buds come with aptX codec so for video playback on YouTube, Hulu, and Netflix I did not discern any syncing issues (if there was I could not perceive it). I'm not sure what the latency is during gaming.
These do not come with wireless charging. To me this is not a deal breaker but I can see a product like this benefiting from it (available on Pro model).
Placing earbuds back in case is rather odd but you will adjust to it fairly quickly. Several reviews did speak of this and you have to experience them to really grasp what was being described.
Sliding lid mechanism while satisfying to open, I feel is prone to be opened accidentally (especially in pockets).
These earbuds are rated at IPX5. I personally would have liked these to be at least IPX7 for the accidental droppage into a pool of water (oddly the Pro model is IPX4)
Some reviews described these earbuds as being on the larger size. I personally did not feel these were that large, granted they aren't going to be flush with the opening of the ear but they felt proportionally adequate.
There is no proximity sensor (auto play/pause when taking buds out of the ears). Given that I take my buds out of my ears quite often this is a feature I would have appreciated (Pro model does not have this feature either).
The earbuds use buttons to control functionality. The buttons are placed on top so you are not shoving the earbuds into your ear when pressed (or tapped like on some touch sensitive controls). I will note that you can accidentally press them when taking them in and out of your ears. This didn't always happen and was not a major flaw in my eyes but I figured I mentioned it just in case. The Soundcore app also allows you to reassign some of the button functionality should you wish to do that.
Overall I would recommend these earbuds and if they did not cause me discomfort I would have definitely owned these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sound quality is mind blowing
Color: BlackVerified PurchaseWhere am I coming from is the TT Soundliberty 79's (returned) and to put it mildly they are awful as far as sound quality goes, so I decided to increase my budget with $40 and go for the Sound Liberty 2 ($109 deal) I'm more then glad I did ... They sound amazing - close to monitors not sure how the PROs are if this ones are so good.
I'm particularly picky, my home audio setup is at audiophile level, so when I listen to music from my phone my ears are really expecting something good.
Again I have no other reference for earbuds and there is no justice to compare them to monitors. But they are pretty close to the monitors.
I'm amazed they only have 4 stars overall on Amazon, it goes to say when a company stays behind their product and not chase stars.
Sound - is crisp, open, present. Bass is there and it's plenty when needed, mids are sharp and highs really open the stage. They are perfectly tuned out of the box if you are not happy you can always use the APP (really good app bdw.) to tune them, BIG PLUS and rare at this price point. There are preset tunes and also CUSTOM, all reviews I've seen online don't mention there is a custom setup as well maybe it's new.
Comfort is good, they stay in place at the gym (main reason I bought them) tested while running and rope jumps - no issues.
Size - I was scared at first they do look and feel bulky when holding them, however once you put them in your ears they don't look big to others and don't fee uncomfortable - they don't stick out!
Overall I'm more then satisfied, if you are after quality and sound quality then give up a few coffees :) use the extra $$ and go for this, they are worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Très étonnant
